Finally we have managed to gather a good team. The positions I have carefully selected. Prince of the team will be at no. 11 thats it. Dont argue with me about it, remember it is the place of Murali.

Shanika will be a good captain because she will be able to keep the team together. Any doubters please go through her posts again. Ruwani is the best for wicket keeper, she takes excellent diving catches and gets along with the captain well.

Batsmen at the top allrounders in the middle and bolwers + pol adi specialists form the tail.

TCK you are right, you have a sound mind and you understand the rules of the house, big or small :)

Yesterday there was a sudden surge in posts, thanks guys (I use the word guys as a generic term to include girls as well. Do I have to explain everything?), keep going.

By the way, a place in the team is not assured. Dr. Akai, remember catches win matches. If the boys fail to perform I have to send an all girl team to protect our honour and glory. So Shanika, Ruwani, Kamni, Tigress & co., be ready to don your gloves and pads just in case the men did not deliver!

Don Bonggo,

We have one of our inter-departmental matches tomorrow (playing against the Physics, good fun always we take the mickey out of them mate) and today I am at the nets doing the usual batting and bowling stints. I'll let you know how my catching goes later on. I am trying my best to improve catching and its not far behind at the moment. Lets say 7/10 now, is not that good enough, chief? I have been labelled as a blocker than a slogger in the team so I have a good possiblity of staying at the wicket if you need any blockers to occupy the crease :-)

	Tck, I am sure you are going to be doubly aware when the catches are there to be had around Shanika and Ruwani nangi. Especially when one does the keeping and the other at slips and you in mid-wicket watching the drama!! Be careful not to let the batsman cracks a boundary through the covers mate !

	Dr. Akai ha ha ha haaa Good luck to you. Seven out of ten is very good but make sure you have missed three during practice. Fine leg position will be fine for TCK. I must request the Captain to put me at silly point. If you are blocker please block the gully. I do not want to be the third man either because I will be caught in between.

	Don bonggo why not put the capt at FINE leg and i will be at square leg. You raise a good point about silly point. that way if the keeper spills a catch you can catch it on the Rebound!

	Guys, I totally object to my batting position. By the Bonggo you have no right to decide on who bats where. I appeal to the captain to send me higher up the batting order preferably #7-8. I would also like to inform the skipper(ess)that I'm a specialist fielder at EXTRA COVER.

Just a little query. Who the head of the department of Colombo's Chemistry Dept.? Do you know Prof. JB of Sinhalese?

Dr ayya, I did not do BSc at Colombo, it was in Uni. of Pune. A cheap Indian degree. But at least it helped me get admitted to the MBA. It's very difficult to do a MBA, a CIMA part time and be expecting a child too. Maybe I should postpone my studies. If I do so maybe that will be the end of it. I am scared. What do you think ayya?

	I must grudgingly agree with prince. Mimslanka Tamilcankun Bonggo Shanika+ Fairplay Dr. Akai Vimukthi Ruwani* Kikiwanga Lula Prince + = Captain * = Wicket keeper Vim hasnt been seen in a month! same with Kiwi!. I think we should be able to swap places. Bonggo is hoping the openers will get out and hoping to bat with the capt and do the running between the wickets.

	TCK, would i get a chance in the team, I am good in fielding (do not drop catches) and my batting is not that bad. Didn't got a chance to play for after Univ.

	TCK, I agree with you 100% how ca we have players in the team who have not turned up for practice & the worst part despite me attending practice regularly taking all the catches & also fielding .... Im at #11. Capithan ... This is totally unfair we need to hear from you in this regard !
