'Koorai' saari is worn only once!which is on a hindu wedding day!
It could be any saaree,it depends on who!
rich people use to get the best wedding saaree to show off their brides with expensive stuffs, well this happened even 70 years back and that may be continuing even at this very moment( I do not know).
It is nothing to do where you come from,it good be Jaffna, Trinco, Batticaloa, Matale ,Colombo , Kandy even Matara! for that matter,however it has to be only hindus.
So why we make a big issue about saying it has to be Jaffna and high class.
Any classs of hindus got married in Sri Lanka did not asked the other, if they could wear the 'Koorai' saaree as they are belong to a higher or lower caste!
Penn & Priya, beleive me in what I say ,if not then you may ask your parents if I was wright or wrong.
Penn & Priya please take care of yourself, do not get tempted for arguments!!!

Don't under-estimate women....more over like Le femme Nikita with a touch of pretty woman.
Not at all, i know it!! but some are beyond repair. but i still stand by what i said before, i wouldnt even wish it on a enemy of mine irrespective of what her capabilities are. |

Btw, I did like your comments, well what do you think?
will it be quite for sometimes with some people who wants to spoil for everyone & everything?
In my days, we did respect our parents and others parents(no matter who it was, sinhalese , tamils,Muslims or Burghers),
Thambi! I am beggining to understand our own Sri Lankans attitudes(let it be any ethnicity)who gives NO damn respect to their own elders or even to other elders,which reminds me of the western culture!
What has gone wrong in our own soceity?
was these people once in a foster home? Were these kids came from a unnhappy family? Did their parents molasting them???? why they use such languages?
well, a therapist couls know what missing in these kids who wants to be very aggresive in their comments and so fourth??
without having their own parents around to care for them? Is that trigged for them??
Why are they taking grudge(revenge) on others? These are unhappy kids! They need help!
I wish, if they got some help to rehabiliate themselfs!!
They could not, not go on like this forever? would they??
These 'children' need to be rehabiliated!
Thambi TC, I know you are a wonderfull person to rehabiliate these poor souls!!
Well, although I am a sort of a elder person, I still needed your help!!

i remember in my first days of school here i got up and the teacher
told me to sit down and talk! This is most likely an asian habit
and we are so used to it. But i guess with western influence this
is something we might as well get used !
But it might also show their upbringing and the values taught to them by their parents.
after all we tend to model our early behaviours by taking into account how our parents behaved.
Well, although I am a sort of a elder person, I still needed your help!!
not to worry. always will extend an helping hand.
like the old saying goes
t is better to keep quiet and be thought a fool, than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt
Now back to the band,
