I have feeling you don't interpret your views correctly. First and far most 61 kids has nothing to do with LTTE, these were innocent children SLA massacred. And Gosl came up with bull crap stories.
Basically have the problem with nationalism as I do not believe it. There for I support GOSL but not SLA terrorism

Kusumban, it the posts you write. For eg .when 61 children are killed you are blaming LTTE how can that be, but they have nothing to do with this. Is federalism too much to ask ? If the Gosl is very genuine why not implement it ,all what we got was false hope from time to time. When there are so many deaths, you are failing to understand the root cause.even though I am born in Colombo, Jaffna blood runs in me, you are not going to call me big head are you.I am totally against caste, but what raves was getting at is ,how you can be blind sighted not see the agony unless you belong to some other race. For change look things in different prospective without bias.

In fact you gave me an idea to construct our very own blend of music group.
Here are the initial members I have roughly thought out to have and you can add more on their abilities and commitments.
Band name: Thilagam and the master blasters
Drums : Master Thilagam
Bass Guitar: Tck
Vocals : HGB, Penn & Dr A
Sound mastering, mixing and audio engineering : ML
Manager : Bonggo ji
Ok chaps its late here and I am heading to bed.

if one have a political idea (whatever it may be) can you attack him personaly (describing mental health abusive languages
of course the answer is 'NO'..you consider that personal attack???? for eg.go read what Ruwani has written for me.bottom line you know who you are that's all matters.take it easy you have so much in life. ok I thought I need to elaborate since you might come back and say i didnt do it.
abusive language should be limited you guys went little over board, threatening is invasion of privacy which I think is very unethical. Have some respect for ladies . you and abising had a field trip so obviously expect a boomerang.

if you want to respond to kusumban (political opinion) please do so in another thread. I think a few sinhala members (one dude only visits this thread!) have also commented on this and its probably the right thing to do since we would like to keep this a NON ethnic Thread.
Infact i am doing it right now with one of his postings! just to make fun of the vegetable!

Not aware of hoe the name came about (maybe youre right about the song) but i remember a story that she was trying to trademark that name or something.
siluku in a blue saree (the way i like it BTW !) in avasara police100 was a blast
bava enna bava! her voice alos added to the situation!
yes youre right about the Koorai. Its mostly a hindu trdaition that you wear it on your wedding day. Plus if you go to a wedding of a close relative (Bro/sis/cousin/Friend) then one wears a koorai as well.
when we got married the men all wore Verti (except the groom ). again this is a traditio that you wear it for a close realtive/friend) Its kind of easily identifiable when you see someone you automatically know that they are someone VERY close the the couple. |

Dr A, thilgam anna and other members of the band,
although i will accept my postion in the band i want to bring to light my experince in Miruthangam. (i,e kinds of drums !)
I did study it for an yr but the blasted master always kept coming when it was play time so i had to give it up.
all work and no play would make TC a dull boy
I also do some vocals (after some Liquid refreshments ofcourse) mostly of the adult variety but present here a song apparently sang at pera Uni in the 60's which has been passed by my uncles. (its basically a song in tamil which is repeated in english!)

Koorai is another Jaffna high class tradition.
aiyo aiyo aiyo.. koorai is a type of saree nothing to do with yalpaanam.
Koorai = wedding saree.. you talk about saree , serrupu pinchudum. |
