Dear friends
I made a misstake by saying we changed in to winter time +1 hour, it has to be -1 hour!
Last night or rather early in the morning I started changing all the clocks + 2 hour( I was bit drunk!)
When my wife got up this morning she noticed something was really wrong with the clocks, she came to wake me and said the time is 11 am ,still you are in Bed?
She knew I messed the clocks!
So here we again, change all clocks to the real time. |

Bro Thilagam,
A very good morning from the Sunny UK. Yes, I only realised last night that the clock goes back by an hour. Can't complain had a good night sleep and woke up this morning and did the changes to clocks. Amazing! its still 10.30 a m having done lot of work. Wish I had time like this stay put for sometime.
Hope you are ok today without much hangovers. I have a mild headache as usual that is the nature I know its harmless.
By the way do you like 3 Sisters? Can you recall some of their old songs?
I have unleashed one of my old tapes and see what I have got a song called 'Wasanawa Dothata gena sina sala' by 3 Sisters. Do you know that?
I am trying to do some domestic work today as I have not much commitments today.
Now we are officially beholding the Winter aren't we?
Yesterday my football team lost to Postmouth 3-1 (Portsmouth 3 Reading 1). So bit sad, but can't expect them to win every single game having seen promoted this year from Div 1 to Premier league.

Of course bro. I know its quite cool and in fact you feel patriotic when you listen to them. Having stayed almost all the time in the UK makes it all the more subtle. I feel that is natural and mutual.
Did you know that CT was here in the late 60s and 70s and had sung some songs in the BBC Sinhalese service but am not sure whether anybody knows that as CT died in 1977. CT and Rukmani have been two of my fav old singers. In fact CT was here together with Patrick Denipitya. Patrick died a few years ago. I guess both CT and Patrick fit the bill nicely with his golden voice and Pat's scintillating music. Not sure many can cope that glaring trend that CT and Pats had. Is it true that Pat's son is taking music? I overheard from someone.

Wow!! I know how proud you are to hail from Matale. I also heard GIRLs are quite pretty from Matale. Is it true? What is that myth? We better ask Tck or ML for that for their expert opinion. I just wonder where Penn comes from!! |

I have my Pilot licence in Sweden, I dont fly nowadays not because of my age, it is because I am getting bit of a color blind, I have diabetes too.
I do it in simulator,I could always bail out myself from the simulator !(from the ground!)
I like air shows , we dont have much of an International air shows like in Farnborrough ,England.
The last air show we had it here in Sweden was in 2004, I saw that, but we dont come even closer to Farnborrough air show.
May be I may visit Farnborrough for the first time in 2008 to see the Farborrough International Airshow participants comes from more than 30 countries!
Some years back I saw in TV some air tragedy in Farnborrough Air show, Italian fighter jet pilots got killed!

Yesterday we had some sunny weather bit windy and ofcourse very cold, today we have some nice weather out, but cold.
West and South of Sweden they had almost like cyclone some days back, power failure and so on. |

Good morning to you, No I did not have any hang overs,I like Famouse Grouse that dont give you any hangovers like rest of the other stuffs.
Yes, officially Scandinavia, Europe have the winter time, but still the time diffrences may be -1 hour to UK?
I like 3 sister songs , Nae Aadare, kallu kella,Mammak Kiriliyak, Vaasiti Kello etc. I did know CT came to UK in 60's I will take your word for it.
Let me put it this way, There are not pretty and pretty girls everywhere in SL,so Matale is not diffrent from any other Town in general.
Girls are more beautiful when they speak with their heart which I admire, my wife is one of them.
I think majority of the SL Men & Men in general are not handsome (including me)pardon boys in this forum for expressing the truth. |

Okay bro here are 2 questions, a bit away from pop but what the heck. Anyone else can answer as well.
1) I guess everyone has heard Beethoven's 5th symphony, at least bits of it, and there are hundreds of recordings. Which conductor's interpretation is widely considered the best? This is a very subjective question, so you can search the web, no harm.
2) What make of piano did Keith Jarrett use in his Köln concert recording. The sound is so distinctive the first few notes (if you listen to it on Amazon) should give you a clue.
Have a brief listen on Amazon to Albert Ayler, Live In Greenwich Village: The Complete Impulse Recordings and tell me what you think. Do you like it or hate it? |

Nowadays I am sure girls at St:Bridgets or HFC do it the way you describe, I am not sure about that, but I will take your word for it. as I don't know the how these girls behave nowadays
Thilagam Anna I can speak for SBC for the years 80's-90's
they were rebellious and little revolutionized as well. here is why

1. girls hide their faces, when guys do a quick scan to see if their ' sweetie/ sour pie' is there.
2. carry safety pins with open side is used as a weapon ,which is intact in the back back-pack when bodily contact is used, favorite ones.. side pack comes to the side.
3. girls are on the foot board of the bus and guys are inside.
4. If you are a member of associations say ( kalai vila).. two separate invitations are printed. one goes to the public the other one goes to head teacher of the school.
5. nuisance calls, hardly picked as parents do the barking. loved ones codes are used.
6. fire crackers retailed by counter attack..must say very very success full. fear is created they have to think twice.
Boys tricks......
1. come to tuition classes and borrow books / pens then follows letters.
2.stalking
3.engrave names in the benches
4. start a conversation related to subjects and then derail from there.
5. Nuns are much smarter.. for Ro /Tho matches when they enter premises for cash.. they are given food instead.of course the baila starts when these guys a drunk. Cinnamon garden police is dispatched.
6. Hindu College was kept a little aloof because they are known for kool muttai addi. but I know there were smart / cultured boys from that school. So kurumban sorry if you were the victim of the whole lot :-) ( the girl you are talking about
is very fair slim, long hair ?).
So Thialagam anna don't know if the guys tricks are same.. but definitely girls have become more bold.(correction per MLV: Bold & beautiful)

lol.I wish.. its seems that much easier to handle than my hubbys media system. always gets the button mixed up. has connected evertthing to the computer.
Weekend are my working days at home :-). weekdays are my realxing days at work. at least I get my projects done to my own speed and have fun. at home thats not the case.
