Thanks for the advice. I am already active in the OGA and if the child is a Girl she will attend Bishops. But if it's a boy no way will he attend STC. He will goto DS. And getting him admitted to DS wwouldn't be a proble as Uncle Ralph and aunty Rohini Alles are our family friends.

But if it's a boy no way will he attend STC
why planning to move away from Galkissa. The tamil medium wasnt exactly top notch i agree but when is comes to brand name Nothing i mean Nothing beats STC.
if he goes to DS he might look around Devi balikawa badus and that might not be a good idea!! as per your assesment ! one side is a cemetary and otherside is a maternity ward i'm told. either way its TROUBLE! |

True TC, this is one of our biggest worries as the younger generation of SL are so corrupt. Unlike the days when Suresh was a teenager. The trend began to change in the late nineties I guess. |

Its the eternal truth. When everything is fast moving ahead nothing can be stopped. Especially technology and science are developing at a rapid rate so is the access for multi media and every kid has the curiosity to explore. By my experience in the early 80s I did not know what intimacy is till about 13-14 years but now the kids know at the tender age of 8-10. I see in the 80s life was much slower than now and everything or most of them was acceptable. But things have changed. I think being parents to youngsters we need to give them the right guidance so that they may not go astray.
I guess you have the duty to do so when he/she comes to world. Its a sweet and yet challanging experience to parents. |

Dr.A; well if you say NK is Ruwani Nangi's friends friend then maybe we will have to think about dropping him twice. But taking into consideration Sri Lanka are not doing too well at the moment I'm sure we will be able to convince her that it is only for this match & that his place in the team is under no threat. I'm sure she wont mind. Maybe you can put a word in this regard.
Bonggo; I agree with you mubarak has wonderful talent infact he was earmarked to play for the country while at college. I remember the Youth world cup played in sri lanka ... India won it & Mohammed Kaif & Yuvraj were part of the team. I think, of that team maybe only Mubarak made it to the senior side. My team for the 3rd test would be..

spot on Dr. yesterday i was at my SIL's place and her youngest son asked me whther i knew what Sex means. I just blinked and he proceeded to explain it. 'its when you put the p*** into the V***** and you HUMP till she gets pregnant. now the word 'HUMP' isnt a very common term. so i i blinked again. the kid tried to explain it a bit more. 'its what you and sithy (tamil word for mom's younger sis) do!!' . he is 10 yrs! old
i think its probbaly easier to bring up boys than girls. tell the kid to use a rubber if the urge to merge is too much. . with a girl you must first tell her not to allow boys to come close. as a scond line of defence you got to speak to them about the rubber too., Damn too much at stake here!.
