do you guys (homes in Sweden) have basements. I know homes in the UK dont
penn how about you guys.
Yes it's a MUST in every Swedish homes to have basements.

I learnt something new today. ! I must confess that i cheated!! Spartucus is the movie!
HT in the basement is a delight. do most finish their basements. (I,e are these atleast 8+ ft in height) |

In Sweden houses are built with basements, and all appartments building has its own cellar for storeage rooms.
Besides all apartments are quiped with cupboards, kitchen equipments such as Cooker, Owen, cupboards, Refrigerator, Frezeer, Rooms have closets and cupboards,these are standard appartments.Unlike in UK and in the continent, you have to have everything when you move in to a new or a old apaprtment!Sweden has better standard than the countries I have visited! |

All part of east, Midwest had basement just like you guys. West doesn?t need it due to weather ( No snow), very few houses have daylight basements /Tri level . A typical daylight basement will have windows and door that leads to the back yard. Daylight basement mostly consist rooms , bathroom , kitchen/ bar (some use it as Mil Unit), or game room/GYM |
