Yes Pollock is the only danger man and if his overs are played out its should be fine. I have a feeling He will Bowl his 10 overs fairly quickly (i.e they will not save him to the last)
i guess a bit too many runs were given in the last few overs! |

| Well, as the saying goes all good things have to come to an end .. and so does Sri Lanka's chances of progressing further in the tournament. Unfortunately we have to now rely on South Africa / new Zealand to beat pakistan. even then we might lose out on the nett run rate. I think this time around it is the batting that let us down. Also I strongly feel that we should have played the same team that beat NZ at least it would have given us an extra batsman. Miracles can happen & thats what Sri Lanka needs now to progress further. |

I thought i knew my cricket but i didnt know they started playing 2500 yrs back. Damn english think they invented the game. better let them know. I get it. when they came into the country they must have picked it up.
less than an hr later its all OVER!!
I think someone is feeding you wrong info.
Prince,
yeah bad show. as predicted Pollock ran through his OVERS in one spell and that was the truning point. Unfortunate RUNOUT in the middle of the partnership sealed it! Edited By - tamilcanuck - 24 Oct 2006 17:06:31 GM |
