Infact I have seen Gunadasa Kapuge & Jagath Wickramasinghe in a concert in Stockholm organised by sinhalese union in Stockholm in 2002.
I think Gunadasa Kapuge died in 2003 , he fell off on some steps while getting down at Katunayake? Am I right?
And Malani Bulathsinhala got an Asthma attack in Los Angeles and died, I am not sure about the year, could you help me out? |

Hi Thilagam Anna, Malani died in 2001.
I have been to few of Kapuge's shows and enjoyed so much. His death was a tragedy. He is one of the main guys who were behind 'Rajarata Sewaya' and worked hard to help new artists. During some period it was considered as one of the best channels. Rathna Sri Wickramasinha, Divulgane and many more used that flat form to emerge. |
