You are indeed a great guy....lie to many as you can but not to your wife. I mostly lie when I do want to play a game of Pool and Snooker and she would know that and keep quiet....just want to show how much you are needed at home everytime; all the time. |

Bonggo,
Talking about the smell, how is this?
An Indian and a Caucasian were on board traveling to India. Food was served.
The Indian had ordered the Indian food and the white man had ordered western.
The conversation followed:
Caucasian : Your food looks colorful
Indian : Yeah!! this are the spicy cuisine of India
Caucasian : Oh what is that?
Indian : This the Naan, the bread of India
Caucasian : That looks nice
Indian : This is the sweet of India
The meal was over and there was a long sound Purrrr.......
Caucasian : What's that noise with a smell?
Indian : Oh.... That;s Air India |

Bonggo,
who else but a girl? :-) :-) and since I don't see any of the other girls around right now, that leaves me without a choice..........:-) So from 'Air India' to a taste of Sri Lankan hospitality ! (Btw, hope this thread has a long life-a big THANK YOU to ALL who contribute regularly to keep this going!!)
The questions below about Sri Lanka, are from potential visitors. They
were posted on an Sri Lankan Tourism Website and the answers are the
actual responses by the website officials, who obviously have a sense
of humour.
Q: Does it ever get windy in Sri Lanka? have never seen it rain on TV,
so how do the plants grow? (UK).
A: We import all plants fully grown and then just sit around watching
them
die.
Q: Will I be able to see elephants in the street? (USA)
A: Depends how much you've been drinking.
Q: I want to walk from Colombo to Jaffna - can I follow the railroad
tracks?(Sweden)
A: Sure, it's only two hundred miles, take lots of water.
Q: Is it safe to run around in the bushes in Sri Lanka? (Sweden)
A: So it's true what they say about Swedes.
Q: Are there any ATMs (cash machines) in Sri Lanka? Can you send me a
list of them in Colombo, Kandy, Galle and Matara? (UK)
A: What did your last slave die of?
Q: Can you give me some information about hippo racing in Sri
Lanka?(USA)
A: A-fri-ca is the big triangle shaped continent south of Europe.
S-ri La-n-ka is that small island in the middle of the indian ocean
which does not... oh forget it. Sure, the hippo racing is every
Tuesday night in the Diyawannawa oya.
Come naked.
Q: Do you have perfume in Sri Lanka? (Germany)
A: No, WE don't stink.
Q: Which direction is North in Sri Lanka? (USA)
A: Face south and then turn 180 degrees. Contact us when you get here
and we'll send the rest of the directions.
Q: Can I bring cutlery into Sri Lanka? (UK)
A: Why? Just use your fingers like we do.
Q: Can I wear high heels in Sri Lanka? ( UK)
A: You are a British politician, right?
Q: Are there supermarkets in Colombo and is milk available all year
round? (Germany)
A: No, we are a peaceful civilization of vegan hunter/gatherers. Milk
is illegal.
Q: Please send a list of all doctors in Sri Lanka who can dispense
rattlesnake serum. (USA)
A: Rattlesnakes live in A-meri-ca which is where YOU come from. All
Sri Lankan snakes are perfectly harmless, can be safely handled and
make good pets.
Q: Can you tell me the regions in Sri Lanka where the female
population is smaller than the male population? (Italy)
A: Yes, gay nightclubs. Edited By - shanika - 24 May 2006 11:08:23 GMT |
