Yes . I have heard I have one my friend living there..at time I prefer privatization for good healthy compete ion. Nothing is free with Uncle Sam.. No pain no gain. But I love the medical and technology here.you can get the best and the worst. No free medical depends on the house hold income..after 65 you are entitled for medical.Schools are very competitive it starts at age 4.. I think west cost more competitive compared to east and none in south due to diversity.
How would you have reacted if you were a tax payer and some foreign national comes to your country uses your tax money
Well let say I have been a tax payer for more than a decade and I know the pain. I have no issue going for the needy , but I have a huge issue for youngsters who are healthy and lazy(we are bombarded with Mexicans) I worked to pay my tuition during my college days and I think that should imply. Even to my kids there is no free ride, they will be doing the same as I did but what we save will be plan B. being academic smart doesn't take you well on a work force need to be street smart as well to survive. |

Long time NO see, where were you all these times?
Ayya, too busy these days ayya. Also, during the weekend the little one got an ear infection. We were planning on going to Kandalama but had to cancel it.

Is it true in Canada some tamils have 'invented' a String hopper machine that makes many hundreds in an hour? the same machine is capable of making Puttu too?
I hear this machine is especially designed for Restaurant use?

yes its true. I havent seen it but i have heard it. its electric powered unlike the one that Penn wants to buy which is not.
I am not sure about the Puttu but maybe youre talkign about just mixing the flour and rice and if thats the case i would say yes. |

well i dont know about that but in canada you have to pay tuition for UNI/College. upto grade12 its free. you can either work and pay or parents can support you or you can get a student loan which is payable at Prime after your graduate. (a few months leeway is granted if you dont find work etc) |

when we grewup never heard of an ear infection. Nowadays a child without an ear infection is rare. always thopugh this might be due to the climate here but it looks like its worldwide.
ruwani, nothing to worry. just becareful not to give too much anti biotics. its growth stunting! thats if you take too much! |

When I meant competitive.. It's the GPA and extracurricular activities, which counts for university admissions. When you have Chinese, Indians, and Russians.. the admissions become very competitive. I believe any diverse environment that will be the situation
All universities here have tuition not free and like Canada we have federal loans. |
