Any day I would make a move to Canada. Munich too comes in the top ten cites in the world to live, where as London does not come even closer.
I havent been to munich but have been to the other places you mention and agree that the UK is the last place i would like to go.
the weather is crappy, one gets a matchbox for a house, the roads are small etc.
the only think i like is that UK has better drivers (and better manners) than the Bozos here plus the cops dont hazzle you too much for speeding. you get stopped here you better not try and get out of the car for starters and you WILL also most likely GET a ticket. there is no way you can explain your way out! |

You are right about weather, roads and cops.
If you want to live in a shoe box London is the place. you don't get value for money except a flashy address. However my BIL keeps on saying that London is the best place to invest your money which I do not agree with. It is, if you live else where in the world.
Out of London you do get value for money in a nice location within 40 minuets of drive. |

Shisya, Pluto100,
Not recently but been there many times!
the house prices are astounding inside london. i have loads of cousins there and every match box is worth a lot of cash if taken out of the country. for instance if they come here with that money they can live in a HUGE house with a TRUE garden and have a lot of MONEY left over!
so yes your BIL might be saying the truth. comparing house prices say in the last 5 odd yrs its gone up MORE than here!
another thing about canada that I like is this is a COUNTRY made up of immigrants. (natives have been systematically sidelined!) the suddhas took a boat and we took a plane! |

Guru + Penn,
There are in fact two songs that start with Thoongazey Thambi Thoongazey.
My son Kula referred to the first one sung by T.M.S (I think it is from the 60's):
Thhongazey thambi thoongazey
Somberi endra peyar wangazey
The second one which you are referring to were sung by S.P.B and Janaki. It is from the 80's:
Thoongazey thambi thoongazey
Ippa thungikittu pinnadi yengazey
Pattukottu varthaihala pottu
Namma porachiyaru padiveychcha pattu
I guess that should clear out all the confusion. Here is one for the road from in between (70's I mean):
Yetho oru naziyil naan iranguwazai poley
Yezo oru yinbam nee arihil irunthaley
Lalal la lalal la lalal la la la la
Singara semmathudai undan sethuram katum kalai
Poluzu sella poluzu sella kalyana panthalilum kazaicholai
See you later |

Most of my thoughts are generally of X-rated in nature, so won't be able to post many
if not for those thoughts i'll be lost in here!
I got distracted arguing finer points of Table Tennis rubbers
the only rubber i know is also at the end of a bat! |
