Sounds similar to a xylophone ( jala = means water, tharangam = cups).. In summary it will consist almost 32 cups arranged in semi- circle with the player in the middle, you will be playing the instruments with, both hands which will be coordinated to bring the song together by working simultaneously on different cups. The best is brought out for this instrument for songs played in fast speed. If you can find A.S.DHANDAPANI he is the fore runner for this instrument.

	Thilagam anna, The vihara lane Penn and myself were talking about is the one in wellawatte. didnt realise there were plenty more. Plus i dont rexcall a zellers in front of Vihara lane. the only Zellers i recall is in front of HFC in Bamba. BTW Zellers is a dept store here!!

	TC BTW Zellers is a dept store here!! Yes with disappointment I came running out.. when I was in Toronto. In wella,Zellers was located adjoining one of the hotel...(sea side)close Rajasingham rd I think
