Hello Bonggo uncle,
I am doing fine thanks, except for a minor knee injury.
Hope you have fully recovered.

Radaw,
That's exactly the news I was reading a minute ago. I was shocked as well, he was only 44. Sad indeed. |

STEVE IRVIN
One of the few men I admired most in my life.
He'll be sadly missed by many, especially those who are into natural conservation.
Our thoughts will be with his family and loved ones.
How tragic! |

Are you still busy?
Bonggo,
You guessed it right. I am quite so.
Planning to put up a new fire place in the house before winter, and it's taking a lot of my time.
Hope you are recovering well,
Wish you a speedy one. |

Pluto,
Do you have a Solar-Hot water system at home? If not, would you not consider getting a system? It's worth it. It saves 93% of your hot water bill. |

Radaw,
Is it that Crocdoc? Oh he was fantastic. Once I saw him chasing a croc on land ... such a brave fellow.
He has done so much to preserve crocs, so Crocodiles will be shedding tears too! |

Hi Thambi Bonggo
Thanks for those songs sung by TMS& L.R.Eeswari, infact
Abdul used to tell us that Meezan was his father, and once in a while he visits the 'Big House' at Trinco street neat to the Matale Police station where Meezan lived with his family. One of the elderst son studied with my cousin at St.Thomas college Matale.
I have been many times to Abdul's house near the Central theatre and almost close to Matale Park & Edawrd Park.
Abdul lived with his mother and brother and sisters. Edward Park grounds where we used to practice hockey.
Mr.Hannan & his parents were family friends of us since I was at the age of 6. Mr.Hannan and A.C.S Hameed from Akurana are frequent visiters to my grand mothers home before even they got in to any politics, I suspect these gents were classmates of my uncle Mr.Rajaratnam at St.Thomas or Zahira college of Matale.
Even Alick Aluvihare was a frequent visitor to us.
Mr.Hannan was a supporter and worked for the local elections for my uncle, eventually he got involved in politics and became the first Muslim Mayor of Matale in the late 60.Ask Mr.Hanan about my uncle and my grand father Dr.Somasundaram.
I do not know if Mr.Hannan is still alive, he used to live near Edward Park. Do you know one Mr.Kallif in Matale,I do not know if he still alive, his nephew jevlin( we used to call) was my class mate.
You may ask hilmy (mayor) of careem stores about Dr.Somasundaram and Mr.Rajaratnam ,afterall they are Matale people and they know all about us. Hilmy is not that old we knew all the Careem stores guys, especially my brother who was a senior officer at the Immigration had helped them a lot in passport matters.
One of the Careem brother who has his residence at Colpetty had helped my brother during the 1983 riots.
If you ask him about my brother then they would tell you the name too.
Bonggo If you know where the 27. Fountain House lane is then surely you might get a flash back about me during those days.
I got sad when I heard Abdul had passed away and so did Hadja?
Bytheway, you are not from Matale and you seems to know lots of things about Matale people especially Mr.Hanan , the Careem stores and Gaffors, are they related to you in some way? Keep me updated.
Regards
