Hi Kamani
I thought you knew little bit more about David Bowie & Iggy Pop.
Iused to play with some bands here, that was long ago however I do have contacts with lots of musicians of all ages, some of them I knew since the 1974 and some are afterawards. I knew some famous swedish groups and some of other musicians very personaly too.there are many young boys in Sweden who loves the 60's 70's Rock, soul,Funk,Pop and hard rock and their taste of music just suites me fine.
But there are other younger generations prefer to-days music!which I am not so fond of it.
musicians who are born in the 40's are very active, we were the flower power generations and the 60's music still lives on., even the sri lankan musicians who were born in the 40's are very active too like the westerners, perhaps we are born withit, who knows.
Todays musician does'nt have to play a real drums in a recording studio, they play the drum machine( with all those buttons and gudgets!), which I hate to do. I admire the old way of playing drums, guitar, bass, electric organ/synth
Sometimes my friends calls me when ever they need a x'tra drummer .I dont play that much like those days, because I have a daytime job from monday to friday, and I wanted to be with my family on saturdays and sundays.
Well perhaps I will play regularly for sake of passing time once I get my retirement in 5 years, My wife knows knows about me, she supports me in everything and so do my children too.
F-1 races,flying, sports,talk about air crafts, cooking.
she used to watch the F-1 with me , because I 've made her like that sport, she knows all the F-1 drivers names too.
Nice to talk to you, itis getting a bit late, I must go to sleep.See you tomorrow.
Give my regards to your family
Regards
