I have to go now, got to work tomorrow too. When Thilagam returns ask him whether he likes Sega. I bet as a music lover he would have listened to it too. It is very much similar to our baila.
In 1994 I watched a sega performance (from Mauritius) with my brother in an International cultural festival and got enchanted by it ever since.

'Kiyane sulange' was sung by Shiromi Fernando and Annesley Malawane.
Shiromi's mum 'Sweeti' was one of my best friends in the early 70's.
Shiromi's uncles are the Dharmaratne Brothers, lived in Kotehena, Colombo-13.
Shiromi lives in Canada, her husband was a planter in Sri lanka and he died in Canada about 1 year ago.
I knew Shiromi when she was a Baby, her Mum's one and only child.
Well Super Golden Chimes was formed by Clarence Wijewardane, prior to this it was known as GoldenChimes when Annesly Malawane sang with him.
After that Annesly Malawane formed his own group
MOON STONES, and 3 sisters sang with him, do you know one of the famous 3 sisters?
Yes, it was none other than Indrani Perera.

I did'nt have to do any 'Manthiram' for Kamani to
re-appear, she'd appeared anyway 'cos she is so kind and undestood my call.
