I remember seeing a banner during our famous cricket tour down under in the year 1995. I dont remember the whole thing but it went something like this ....

There seems to be a lot of discussion on the subject of reverse swing. We all know Pakistan under the captaincy of Imran Khan were the once to introduce it to the cricket world. The famous W's Wasim & Waqar took it to another level. Reverse means that the batsman will be looking to play the ball swinging towards the slips but instead it swings in the opposite direction. We have seen bowlers amper with the ball & even captains rubbing dirt on the ball to make it swing. However, both times it was caught on tape. However in this case despite having 26 cameras non of it caught the pakistanis meddling with the ball. We all know that hair has been biased especially towards the asians & him asking for money is the icing on the cake. Ranatunge was right when he said he is a misfit & i only hope, to be a lesson to all umpires, that this fellow is kicked out of cricket for good. |

No we cannot do that. If you have anything personal with Darrel Hair please let me know I will sort it out. You dont have to go on a character assassination spree.
We shall not let the man go, thats a cowardly act. Darrel will be retained by the ICC as a legal advisor. Believe me, the umpiring problems will not go after Hair. We still have umpires like radaw, Mark Levinson, Kulakottan and Fairplay to be dealt with.
The whole problem is Captain is missing for a while and things have gone out of control. We have to wait for her eminence's return, sooner the better.
By the way, you have been disappointing as the Rugby captain. You did not even endorse the team's Haka, let alone lifting the team spirit.
Ruwani and Kamani are also waiting eagerly to get news from you. You disappointed them. What happened to the matchmaking?! |

So your dad used to hang around with CT? Is CT related to you?
Sorry for the belated reply. Yes, I have heard about Ruckmani Devi mY mum like her very much 'Mawila penevi rupey' and some other songs. There is a sculpture of her in Ja-Ela in Negombo Road where she met an accident which she died of.
Yes, My father is a good pal of uncle CT and Patrick Denipitiya the musician. They apparently had so many things well b4 I was born but he's not related to dad. I think they have spent much times in Colombo clubs.
My dad always says there is only one CT in our country though his son tried the same but not so successful.
I like the old group songs 'Super Golden Chimes'. You know that Sinhalese song 'Kiyanna Sulange' I think was sung by Clarence & a girl called Lilanthy Karunanayake. Do you know her?
