TC, Dr A, Bonggo and everyone,
I just wanted to give you all warm hello. I miss you guys. I have not had time these summer months to contribute and also the news is so bleak that it takes considerable energy to think about our poor island with its unbelievably stupid politicians.
TC machang, no hard feelings brother, I'm sure you have continued to speak in a cool, rational and humorous voice as you always have done, work permitting I will be at your side again.

Tamilcanuck,
He was under pressure, he no-balled Murali for the firm belief that the boy was chucking, he indeed does chuck. But Hair's eyes are not electron microscopes or Hair didn't study 'instantaneous biomechanics' to understand Murali. We can't say he did anything wrong. In the end it helped Murali to get his action right a bit anyway. This time he was put under an immense presure by the PCB with their ever usual threatening. That's disgusting, we must protect Hair. |

Thilagam,
Paul is a nice chappy, very down to earth, (probably because he doesn't have lot of money:)),my only worry is he doesn't let the girl sing, he himself does everything.
The girl had a chance to sing a couple of songs in his abums like the song kamani posted, don't marry her-**** me' but that's not enough.
Having said that, I like them, I listend to them when I am driving (they keep me awake) or when I am drunk...::)) |

You are right, Hair is an intelligent fellow. He is a lawyer and ICC might draft him in to their legal panel.
Him calling Murali the first time ok but even after Murali was cleared he said, 'I will not hesitate to call Murali again.' With what intention he said that I do not know. |

That's his attitude bit. He shan't have said that, anyway.
What he said was, 'what I do is right'.
When he was so against the introduction of 'Hawk eye' for LBW's, the inventor Paul gave him a demonstration and he surrendered. Likewise, I am sure, if he read Murali's biomech's report, he would have accepted it.
Why I am going on defending him,firstly I think he's right most of the time and secondly, I think cheaters should not be allowed to dominate world cricket. But i will stop defending him now. |
