Tamilcanuck,
I think it is sad to see Hair is in hot fume now. I think he's an intelligent umpire with an attitude. We need them and if he resignes on this particular incident, it will give ball-tampering, bat-congealing, swaggering,bail-filching... pakistanis an undue advantage.
Muralis case, well everybody makes mistakes. |

Thanks. So you did like Ravel 'Bolero'.
I used to discuss about various typ of music with Dr.Akai and Mr.HelloGoodBye.
I really liked Dr.Akai,he knew lots of songs and the musicians too, but I dont see him in this thread to discuss, very sad.
Who was your fathers famous music group and singers?

Thilagam,
No wonder they chased you away if you taklked about F-1... By the way, did you see when Michael-cheating-is-a family-thing-schumacher was stripped off of his pole position the other day? I think he is a pakistani cricketer. |

Jillball,
I agree that the pakistanis have done this in the past but that doesnt exonerate Hair. he may be under stress so was Murali and that was pretty early in his career.
if the cash offer had come from ICC then it s a different matter but it apperas he asked for it. so i guess he pretty much feels that his future as an ump is over and done with.
Didnt lanka also ask the ICC to bar him from officiating from games.
good riddance!! |

Guru,
Thanks for the breaking news. Cricinfo has more.
Jills,
Most probably the ICC is going to retain Hair on their legal board, since the guy is also a lawyer. |
