TC,
I agree with Ruwani,
If there is a way that Mr Brown can reinstate those members who got the sack i.e. Expatpulli, Cobra, Naleen, KumarSevapra with a warning perhaps would be nice.
I personally believe those who insult on intimacy and personal life are not healthy for LNP discussions though they can be warned through a system and reinstated.
But I am not the moderator so I don't know, may be Mr Brown can answer my question. |

| You are on a horse, galloping at a constant speed. On your right side is a sharp drop off, and on your left side is an elephant traveling at the same speed as you. Directly in front of you is a galloping kangaroo and your horse is unable to overtake it. Behind you is a lion running at the same speed as you and the Kangaroo. What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation? |

Hi Lula,
Can you post this on my behalf on the Thomians thread?
Thanks,
Naleen
******************************************
To all my dear friends,
I come here less frequently these days and have time
only to go through one or two threads. Hope everything
is fine.
One important trend I have noticed is the increased
tendency of the people in the two camps to call each
other as Ayya / Akka / Anna / Thambi / Thangatchi etc.
At the time I joined the forum, about ten months
before, this was almost impossible. The seperation was
so wide that any Sinhalese calling a Tamil as Ayya /
Akka / Thambi were immediately branded as a traitor.
(and vice versa) I was the first to break ice by
calling Thirumalai as Thambi. I am very happy that the
things have greatly improved since then.
Yes, I have also observed many members from both sides
have come down from their previously held hard-line
stands to accept a compromise. As somebody who always
wanted to push others towards Sinhala-Tamil UNITY,
this always gives great pleasure to Naleen. To see how
things changes after some fruitful discussion from a
person from the other camp is surprising. Even in my
case I have learnt a lot from very useful discussions
with some of the Tamils here. (though we not
necessarily always agreed.)
I think meaningful discussions are what all on-line
forums like this one should promote. They should be
platforms where Sinhalese and Tamils exchange their
views think about a common solution everyone can
accept with dignity. It is unfortunate that, instead
of that, such forums have become virtual battle
grounds, people rap each other.
The question is whether Naleen is there or not. The
question is whether we all can live in this single
country in harmony and with all our heads straight. If
that happens Naleen will always be happy, no matter
wherever he is.
Take care everybody,
Naleen

Naleen Sir!
Good morning to you.
Happy to see your post through M. Lula. War has started now. Many innocents lose their life.
War mongers are happy , they want to count the numbers of bodies. But many people are in desperate situation at the war zone. My heart suffers when I hear the war again.
May God keep all Sri lankan.

Everybody's attention has been diverted to the 'Water Gate' crisis.
What's up everyone?
