This is awesome cricket.
626/2 and going strong.
All sorts of records are tumbling. Jayawardene is 300 and if Sangakkara scores 300 it will be another record! |

Radaw,
Geesh why didnt you remind me of it before. Both players could have scored triple centuries.
Well done Sri Lanka for creating several world records in their 754/5.
Petiya,
They are Sri Lankans. There are all sorts of sri Lankans, dark, fair, short, tall etc. |

Bonggo ayya,
I blame you for Mahela's demist at 374, why could not you throw your spells to make him 400+
You are disappointed and your match fees will be reduced by 20%. |

Kamani Nangi,
In fact before that match I cahnted a mantram for Sri Lanka to score more than 700 runs but I forgot about Mahela.
At least you must give me credit for helping Sri Lanka to score more than 700 runs :) |

Bonggo ayya,
Ok, I'll give credit for you on 700+. But the record is some 900+ isn't it? So no point in that. It was pity that you Manthram didn't work for the Captain Mahela who would been a proud owner of the record + being the captain of the side. Well, at least our own Prince ayya has been given right old bash from our own ayyalas.
Prince ayya, is it good that you betrayed us, now paid the price :) |

Nalanda Rules
Mahela Jayawardene (Nalanda) & Kumar Sangakkara (Trinity) put on a world record 624 runs for any wicket in test cricket.
They beat the previous record of
Roshan Mahanama (Nalanda) and Sanath Jayasuriya (St. Servatius) who put on 576 runs against India in 1997.
President of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rjapakse (Nalanda) sent them a congratulatory message.
We send a congratulatory message to Nalandians too :) |
