Guru,
You should pose this question (regarding batting the whole day without losing a wicket) to Steve at Cricinfo.
No it was not the West Indies, it was England who toured South Africa in 1981 and Sri Lankan rebel team went there in 1982. Most of those who toured felt that they did not get the deserved chance in the National team.
If not for that tour Sri Lanka would have been a very powerful team by the end of 1982. Edited By - Bonggo - 28 Jul 2006 15:06:36 GMT |

Shisya,
maybe i am confusing this with the Kerry packer (aussie) series. I know WI played for Kerry because in the late 70's i went to a match i think at tyrone fernando stadium (or whatever was in moratuwa i think) and caotained by kalicharran, which invcluded slvester clarke, holder, foud bachhus, and many more.
sunil wetiimuny opened the innings and played some wonderful shots before Malcolm marshall sent him to the hospital. |

The Logic
Zailsingh decided to write the MBA exam. He could understand every thing except for the LOGIC part. One day when he was reading, Rajiv came home.
Rajiv: Zailsinghji How is your MBA preparation?
Zail Singh: Every thing is fine, but I could not understand Logic.
Rajiv: Logic is very easy.
Zailsingh: Can you give me an example, so that I can understand.
Rajiv: OK. Do you have fish pot in your house?
Zail: YES.
Rajiv: Logically, there will be water in it.
Zail: YES.
Rajiv: Logically, there will be fish in it.
Zail: YES.
Rajiv: Logically, someone will be feeding the fish.
Zail: YES.
Rajiv: I take a guess that your wife will be feeding the fish.
Zail: YES.
Rajiv: so, logically, your are married.
Zail: YES.
Rajiv: So, that means You are a heterointimacyual.
Zailsingh was very glad and he understood logic. Next day he sees Butasingh and he was also preparing for MBA.

| Nalandiyan. He got kicked out along with Bandula Warnapura for going to SA. My dad says he would have become a good batsmen if he stayed. But again he's baised ;-) |

It depends on how you measure richness. If it's money he's not. But he batted 4 times for 4 cute sons. Then declared after realizing he'll never hit a sixer for girl.
//Too personal
is your handle chosen because you live near the ocean
Not really because it represents harmony. Edited By - bluewaters - 28 Jul 2006 18:27:43 GMT |
