You only have to read Naleen's and my posting history to know what it was actually like. How would a person like Naleen, hurt me when he only speaks his own pre-conceived politics?? I have no problem with anybody's politics and I will not say anything about it here as he has already been hurt. Whatever it is, he should not have been banned. |

I was ssurprised to hear there are 80,000 Sri Lankans in Lebanon. Even during the height of the civil war in the 80's there were 15,000 of them.

I only can re-iterate that I am for sensible free speech and your one sided picking doesn't change me. Thank you for taking time to go through my posting history.
DRAkai may be a decent character to you but do you have any idea as to what he said to me to provoke me that much? I was very patient and I only asked him and Tamilcanuck not to disparage women, when they went on something, which I do not like reminding again. I went out loud only when the guys began unleashing rot at me. These guys always tested my patience. Just like Israel, everybody has a limit to their patience. When you pick those lines, you have to pick the respective links too. Have you ever seen others' writing here? |

I have the utmost respect for women but that doesnt mean that i'll keep quiet when i feel a below the belt comment IMHO. yesterday there was one (one gal directing it to another).
but i still responded. so if you take that comment out of context it might look disparaging.
you also told Nada and me not to openly support Naleen in this Forum re his banning since it will damage his chances. just because i support the LTTE. nonsense. i consider him a forum friend with whom i have had some VERY heated discussions with, and he once called me a racist. put politics in front i pretty much dont agree with most of the sinhalese here (UNP, SLFP, JVP etc) but thats beside the point.
I will respond to your isreal comment on another thread as i dont want my political musings to spoil this otherwise wonderful and entertaining thread. |

I don't have to be a god's gift to ask somebody not to disparage women or even men for that matter. I have no intention of using this space for political arguments but only replying people like you who invite it.

Just to remind you, that series of arguments were started with a couple of you guys when you went on making certain remarks to Kamani when she joined.How clearly do you remember that? I only said, not to put down her and you guys went after me and I sadly had to respond from the language you understand. When Kamani mistook it to join your fray to attack me, it went on to a different side. It's quite easy to forget what you did and to start from the middle like you do.

Another of your classic? I only pointed out to Vimukthi that he never called you Machang while you kept calling him so, may be it was the other way round. Let me clear it for you, may be for the twentieth time. When you say Naleen is an unbiased character and when some others say the opposite, he can?t be an unbiased one. For him to claim his place as an unbiased man, people who could give him a proper testimonial should speak. When ardent LTTErs say he is unbiased, that shows how unbiased he is. So you keep away and he might have a chance, that was my request. I know there are less terroristic people who asked his account be re-activated. I didn't ask them not to do so. Hope you get it now. I was only trying to help Naleen, although he misunderstood it. To be honest, as I keep saying, banning is not something that I appreciate, it undermines the meaning of sensible free speech. So you know now who speaks nonsense.
