Naleen,
Fo ra guy who fought JVP tooth and nail, this should be child's play.
If you leave at this pont or feel demoralised, you are letting everyone down in this forum, including your sworn enemies.
My friend, politics is like that, MR has faced tougher sentence, including a jail term. Premadasa's trials and tribulations were even tougher. Sirimavo's civic rights were removed. Did they get demoralised? No they came back even stronger.
Compare that to your experience. Shrug it off and keep on contributing as Naleendra.
Above all, be a Sri Lankan! |

Naleen,
I can understand your frustration and getting the wrong end of the stick for your beliefs. Well, that is part and parcel of expressing your views. If you feel good about the remark you mentioned then that what matters after all.
The bottom line is you or me cannot please everyone on this forum and sometimes some people can gang up against others for being straight forward, which nobody can prevent so bearing in mind keep contributing using your new handle. |

Bonggo ayya,
Happy Saturday to you :)
My favourite girl Justine lost in the Wimbledon Tennis final :(
I am sad I really wanted her to win but the French girl came strongly. |

Kamani nangi,
Really? What a pity!
I was supporting Justine too. Anyway, after so many attempts the French girl deserves it.
But my bet is for the French to win tomorrow! |

Ayya,
I don't mind who wins tomorrow as long as Asantha is ok.
Btw, Justine and I were born in 1982 :) |

1982!
wow what a coincidence, that was the year when Italy beat Germany in the world cup football final in spain.
Hope it will not be repeated tomorrow.
12 years later Italy came to the final and lost to Brazil.
12 years after that Italy is in the final again!
Whatever the result, history will be repeated (i.e. Italy won, 1982 repeated. Italy lost, 1994 repeated)
So nangi, history is going to be repeated tomorrow in Munich :) Edited By - Bonggo - 8 Jul 2006 18:05:36 GMT |
