It seems that since Canada day Guru too has gone in to deeper meditation. That is one of the reasons why the chelas are going out of control.

Is it wal penala or wel penala. Ah, oh I see, it would have been valey wel penala, which means a person in severe difficulties. A similar saying, valey wel nethuwa innawa.
Any other idea Prince?
Mala penala means fuming mad.

Oh now I get it. I was totally on the wrong track, thinking that it was a sying!
'Wel Penela' means a herb. It grows freely in Sri Lanka. I have not heard a Tamil word for that because we alwasy called it Wel Penela in Colombo. In Jaffna they may be having a different word for it.
It is an excellent herb. Aha, if you drink Wel Penela Kanji, it will be very good for jinthu ;)
Next time when you go to a Sri Lankan store in Toronto, ask for Wel Penela herb and make Kanji with it and drink.
And I guarantee, you will have a nice weekend! |

When you say about Kanji and all that I remembered the young coconut water (Kurumba) and the kernels in it. They taste heavenly.
Oh, my god! whenever there is a trip in the hot sunshine I never miss it. It gives much better feeling than some toddy though the latter gives some extra kick at later.
Btw, I am dying to have some palmyrah toddy when we have a solution back in SL and Tck and I are probably be 80 years then :-)

i have been campaigning too. i gather i should stop it then eh! and do you think anyone should speak on his behalf.
In fact as a reply to Nada I said, even you shouldn't speak on his behalf either. It has to be left to those who did not get along with him. Then it shows a balance. Banning somebody can't be appreciated, a request for a public apology would suffice. But Mr.Brown has a hard job to deal with, i won't dispute him.

It's an all French weekend, but it could possibly be a disastrous weekend for them too. |

Bonggo, good to be back. I dont mind the debates or arguments as long as it confines to our understanding & is not not on ethnic lines. This is the only thread that a royalist & thomian, Anandian & Nalandian, Trinity & Anthonian ... Buddhist, christian, Muslim, hindu & anyother religion / race get along well & do not abuse one another. I'm so fedup with the other threads I dont even look at them. We are nearing 1,500 & we have done a fantastic job so far lets keep it that way. Jayawewa !!
Happy weekend to all & hopefully Portugal will win the 3rd place play offs & France will win the worldcup for the 2nd time. |
