My hubby said Sri Lanka playing cricket without Murali in the next cricket match.
asantha is right,
Muralis' son underwent an operation and he is in India. everything is okay itseems but he will not be playing in the rest of the series which has been effectively won.
a 5-0 whitewash will be good. next time when lanka tours the english will rewards us with 5 TESTs instead of 3 tests. a decade back they only gave 1 test. |

TCK,
The weather is also suitable for our guys.
Next time they will give us a schedule that finishes before the end of May when the weather is still realtively cold!
Lets wait and see!! |

No Abising; I did not say that!
Your usual trick to stir up arguement!
What I am saying is that the colder weather makes it difficult for our boys to perform to their fullest potential. That is why England never give us dates in summer but in Spring - mainly the month of May and early June.
Little warmer weather makes them perform better. Even for Murali he finds it difficult to turn his wrist and fingers to the maximum in colder weather. The batsmen take a long time to get themselvs settle at the wickets.
Anyway thank you for giving me the opportunity to clarify!

Thanks Abising.
I will definitely take that offer.
You might have to show me somewhere else as I have seen all that in Canada, during my Uni time.

Whats love
When your together with that special someone, you pretend to ignore tthat person. But when that special person is not around, you look around to find them.
AT THAT MOMENT UR IN LOVE
Although there is someone else who makes you laugh, your eyes & attention might go that special someone,
Then your in love
Although that special someoen was supposed to call you long back, to let you know of their safe arrival, your phone is quiet. Ur desperately wating the call!
At that moment your in love
If your more excited for one short email from that special someone than other many long-emails,
Ur in love
When you find urself as one who cannot erase emails or SMS msgs in your phone because of one msg from taht special person ... Ur in love
When you get a couple of freetickets to the movies, you would not hesitate to think o fthat special person
Then your in love
U keep telling urself, that special someone is just a friend, but you realize that you can not avoid that persons special attraction ... At that moment your in love
While reading this mail, If someone appears in your mind,
Then in all probability,
UR IN LOVE W/ THAT SPECIAL PERSON ... ;) |

Love is all around .. good... good !
And good to see you Prince.
Mimise too has made a come back. Mimsie, let's hope that our guru will chant a special mantra for your speedy recovery.
But looks like some members are still recovering from the hangover from radaw's party. Any one knows where Lula has 'slipped' into?
Don Bonggo,
You have asked what I think of the netball team. I am overjoyed that Skipper Kamani and your Hon. self have come up with this idea and I am 100% behind the selection.
But I have to state my profound disappointment with the chosen attire.
now don't get me wrong-it's just that these days, thanks to the world cup, we girls get a overdose of men with bad legs wearing shorts running around in the field. They are in the small screen, they are in the big screen, in other words, they are EVERYWHERE. so can we ( I mean the girls) get a 'break' from this at least here in LN? Can't you reconsider the attire to something more longish?
I am surprised that the other girls have not mentioned this.
But on principle, I applaud the color chosen-pink-very 'baby spice' like-after all this is the age of the meterointimacyual and we girls have to support them.
However, if Rev.Kuleen has already bought the uniforms (since he reported an incident with the 'porisadaya' at house of fashion, he might have been able to 'blackmail' them into giving a special discount) I rest my case.
And for the record, as already suggested by Rev.Kuleen, TC and if I am not mistaken Fairplay and Kula, if there is a 'motion' for the girls to wear shorts,or short skirts, I shall fully support it. Edited By - shanika - 25 Jun 2006 10:46:17 GMT |

Ruwani,
I couldn't come here for a couple of days, and I just saw your posting addressed to me. well, I haven't been to the serious threads in a while so I had to do some scooting around to find the thread you were referring to.
It's already old news now so there's no point in bringing it up again, but I too think that the other forum memeber was a bit too out of line there. Yet the good thing is that he has taken it back, which was decent of him. so i hope you can put it behind you now, right? |

Hi Shani, the motion has been passed. For cricket it is trousers for all, in football shorts for the boys and skirts for the girls. Netball players wear nothing but skirts. So it is pinky dress for the netballers.
Guru,
How are you keeping? |
