Thambi,
I can clearly see/feel how ecstatic when you hear something is thrown at the Sinhalese end. But we have to see both sides of the coin my friend.
Its not about establishing Eelam and then drinking gal or pol or Tck favourite toddy. Its about the people, their living standards, jobs, housing, education, health and security all these issues come under that. Anybody can say we have won the Eelam or we have defeated the Sinhalese thugs/chauvinists/army etc. But in doing that would not create an eternal solution.
What we have to do is to unite together and find an everlasting solution for both parties that will prevail the everlasting peace. Therefore I would not see a point people throwing words as they would not harm or facilitate anything. Therefore the practicality is very important my friend, lets think rationally and work towards a federal style power devolution in the NE so that everyone gets their fair deal. |

Thambi,
i know you and many tamils love to have a seperate state for Tamils, that is your sole dream and nothing else.
that is why you keep saying that state in waiting for Mullativu and Vanni areas :)
but in order for such lovely dream to be achieved, there has to be a true cause behind it, otherwise if you even fight for a century you dont achieve it!
anyway you guys can keep this dream murmuring till the end of this year :) after that your lovely dream will be gone, just because it has been a fake ! |

A few days go JVP wanted to follow the the Indian modele of federal administrtion for the northeast and northwest.
It was ,in fact unbelievable ,statement .
Now you can read the latest statement of this racist,anti-Tamil party JVP as follows :
JVP rejects Indian federalism
The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP), a key ally of the Mahinda Rajapaksa government in Sri Lanka, has categorically rejected the Indian model of federalism, which the moderate Tamil leader, V Anandasangaree, had proposed as a solution to the ethnic conflict in the island. In a letter to Daily Mirror the JVP said that the news report that the JVP was willing to consider the Indian model of federalism was 'false and invented'. 'Our politburo has not considered a federal solution, only a unitary one,' the Marxist-Sinhala nationalist party said. The Rajapaksa government rests heavily on the JVP, which has 39
Are these are the sinnalese culprits who want to have peace with Tamils ???? |

Guys,
In a united Sri Lanka, how would you propose to reconcile the language issue?
The reality is that, generally, Tamils are not proficient in Snhala language; the Sinhalese are not proficient in Tamil language. There is a communication barrier; how do we solve this major issue?
For those of us who can communicate in English, there is no problem. I for one, would like to hear and understand as to what the Sinhala politicians say to the Sinhala masses. |

Saintclair.
If LTTE not give-up the idea of a 'separate country' theory, JVP not give-up the unitary 'country theory'. |

exactly. V. Perumal did exactly that in 1987. declared eelam without the support structure. thats why i say short circuit the tiger move by implementing the CFA Fully. the whole island is gonna suffer if the CFA is not implemented.
The politicians should come together and work on principles which are bipartisan and move the country forward. But a many of the respecetd members of the sinhala community here in LN admit that the politicains have failed and have little or no hope. Is this a correct assessment. if not please let us know. |

Who cares what a 'kossa' has to say. This Nadesan doesn't even know where Thimpu is. Imagine the standard of so called negotiators in their side.
I found nice picture of LTTE negotiators in the site.

A Tamil politician in Denmark has been kicked out from the party for giving a 'boastful speech' and for being a member of the LTTE.
This cowardly, 'supremo', after getting the boot, was inisisting that he was not a member, but only a supporter!
In the meantime, in Toronto, authorities are closely monitoring allegations of extortion by the LTTE.
These murderous butchers of fellow Tamil people have no shame but keep insisting even from the foreigh governments to treat them as 'special' people and bend all existing laws and regulations and ACCOMMODATE THEM.
A dangerous trend.
All readers should question 'why'? |
