Let let CID do the job in a responsible manner without any hindrance by any government official/s.This type of business MUST be dealt with severely. The said minister should be given a fair trial with all persons who received bogus visas to prove who are involved. The President will have to use his powers to safe-guard the National Image. If not,he should submit his letter of resignation and never join any political group hereafter.
Peoples of Sri Lanka have had enough with crooked ministers in the cabinet. Now is the time to clear up OR clear OUT!

Plenty of Legislators are involved in human smuggling there.

All ready GOSL must have decided how to tackle ?

Does anyone have an idea as to how many very important investigations are in progress in Slanka?? And what are conclusions of those completed?? What is the outcome of the VAT scam??? for example, culprits jailed?? CID is poorly organised with ill trained officers and inadeaquately resourced so that none of these investigations will be completed. This has been done purposly. Somewhere along the way, some cases will be dropped, files misplaced, witnesses eliminated, evidence destroyed or manupulated, etc. An investigations must be completed within a reasonable period of time if it is to be effective, not years and years.

If proper investigations have been completed and justice done to culprits, the slankan jails would be overcrowed with not petty criminals but ministers, MPs,chairpersons and businessmen .
They are all out there sucking the blood of innocent people who are fed with rhetoric and meaninigless cricket.
