Bauer prevented from visiting Killinochchi

Jon Hanssen-Bauer, Norwegian special envoy has been asked by GoSL to cancel his trip to Killinochchi. He was scheduled to visit Killinochchi to meet tiger leaders on Monday. GoSL has informed Bauer that government would not provide facilities for him to make the journey and has asked him to refrain from making the trip. Bauer is expected to visit Galle to participate in a ceremony to hand over a tsunami housing scheme constructed by Norwegian aid. |

| He is probably taking some replacement parts for the Big Screen TV Velu had been bestowed with as an appreciation for Velu's contribution to save human lives for 30 years by the Norwegian Govt . |
