If the modayas ban the LTTE,then they cannot talk to the Tigers. So modayas can only go for a military solution to solve the ethnic problem..But India is fully opposed to a military solution. Are the modayas prepared to go for a military solution against India's wishes? Then go for it!

Worries of the tamil popolation are going to be blown away in near future. Srilanka is going to be declared as a state terrorisme by the world, and the ban on the tamil's representatives is going to be lifted. Dai Mahinda dont weaste your time being visiting the contries to make some false propaganda abt LTTE, cuz those suggestions are not going to be taken into account in the future.

Again you took it the wrong way.

There is no denying both communities have suffered enough. But if what comes in the near future look like the past was child's play the suffering will not last long. There will be a ending one way or the other. I am not going to pretend to know the answer.

There after people will be able to build their life.

Dvladv,

War should come to an end if the country and the communities to heal. I guess we will not see it soon, but how much we want it knows all. Sad thing is we have it on our own hands but can't make the proper finale out of it, it's like the dieing guy on the snow with out water.

This time, you were correct Berty. Our politicians don't care about others as long as they are safe. No other country would allow such a cancer to grow and continue this way. There were more than enough opportunities in the past to finish off the LTTE terrorism, but every time when the LTTE was weakened, our politicians gave everything for these terrorists to rebuild and continue their crimes. Our politicians suddenly wake up when their kith and kin are affected.

I think, at least now, for the sake of all communities in Sri Lanka, the LTTE must be proscribed and dealt with accordingly. If our current leaders of the nation hesitate to do this now, the people of Sri Lanka will never forgive them.

It is high time to ban again LTTE as a terrorist organization as they have blatantly disregarded any constructive measures by the GOSL and IC to return to peace talks and engage in a dialogue to end the ethnic issue of Sri Lanka. It has been unanimously accepted by the IC that LTTE had provoked the present crisis with attempts to kill th army commander, and closure of the anicut cutting the water supplies to civilians. Furthermore they continue to show their cowardice by shelling SLA positions hiding behind civilians. Yesterday's attempt to kill the Defense secretary is another example of such provocation in anticipation of Government retaliation which could cause collateral damages to Tamil civilians in areas controlled by LTTE.

The Schizophrenic pig Prabhakaran had taken every measure to secure his life by strictly controlling the population only for Tamils in Vanni area under a strict dictatorship, as well as hiding in a bunker. He sends suicide missions to the South to the capital of Sri Lanka a cosmopolitan area where Singhalese, Tamils Muslims and other minorities live together. His main goal is to kill Singhalese leaders to create a backlash as 1983 against the Tamils in the south and stir emotions of the Tamil Diaspora living in the west as well as Tamil Nadu to win Sympathy for LTTE terrorism with unrealistic promises of a Tamil Eelam .

Norwegian involvement had been beneficial only to strengthen LTTE terrorism but not for a permanent peace or resolution of the Ethnic issue. CFA which does not worth even the paper it was written had given only an illusion to the public of a Pseudo Peace. We knew what LTTE was doing to violate CFA even before the ink on the paper carrying the signature of then PM, RW dried up.

Sri Lanka needs to call a spade a spade and ban LTTE and fight against terrorism and terrorist supporters.
