LTTE says their final objective is separate state, That is already a failed objective. Even hardcore LTTE leaders know that, yet they keep that as the main objective since they can continue with the war, and at the same time enjoy the privileges they have like meeting diplomats, comfortable life style, and so forth. If this problem is solved, democracy will be established and educated tamils will take over and these LTTE leaders with no school education get nothing. so they keep the unsolvable objective, just to achieve their own objective. Otherwise if they are really serious about separate state, they would accept the political solution with maximum power sharing, and sometime later restart the campaign for full independence.
LTTE is using the grudge of tamils toward sinhalees to both finance and keep the war going. |

LTTE are funded by Tamils all over the world all these sour grapes about LTTE robbing is stupid. The gosl has to be realistic in its approach, otherwise they will face failures, like they did in the last 30 years!
You dont have to be an analyst to understand this nonsense, even Banda on the road knows without being a stupid analyst! |

Riots has caused nothing compared to armed violence There must be a limit to anti-Tamil riots. Tamil militant groups were formed to put a halt to these organised riots but neither peaceful nor violent approach seem to work with Sinhala polity.
So Tamils would rather face a brave death by fighting than cowardish running. That's why our Tamil democratic leader said in 1976 that we would get out of Sinhala clutches
or perish.

LTTE always said their aim is seperate state, but if the GOSL was prepared to be reasonable they would settle for a federal devolved power set up, but in the recent speech Piraba pointed out even after they tried to talk peace with UNP SLFP and all others thers no srious attempt to reach that devolved power. Therefore they have been forced to go back to their belief that only seperate state would resolve Tamil problem!!
If the foolish gvt is prepared to shift the paradigm then theres is still a chance to reach out and negotiate, but if they play the same monkey games, will end in worse results like the ones achievd by past foolish gvts before 2002 wh persued war to the full effect!!! and failed!! |

| Not all statements of the analyst1 is dumb. In his last post he had mentioned that LTTE is using the Tamils grudge against Sinhalese. There is some truth to this but the grudge is not with the Sinhalese but GOSL. JR created this and fueled 83 and many Tamils are not willing to forget this. |

Are you going to rely on idiots comments.But still tamil majority live in south with sinhala people.They are the people most affected.NE tamil didnt experience those riots as they didnt live in south.More than 100,000 sinhalese lived in north before 1983.They are also chased out. |
