| This is the nature of some dirty military officers of SLA. They do not think about the lives of their soldiers and purchase whatever weapons, if they are given bribes. Present tender procedures for military hardware has to reviewed and introduce a better transparent system. |

This article is garbage. Who are the sources of this information? Anyways, even some of Israel's bombs such as cluster bombs did not explode in Lebanon. So problem is encountered even with well-equipped air foces.
However, this does not mean there isn't some level of corruption probably in these arms deals. Sri Lanka needs to take a hardline against the agents and sentence them to long prison terms and freeze their accounts if the weapons they buy don't meet proper standards.

According to the WHO office in SL, the highest number of HIV/AIDS cases are reported in the Northern province of Sri Lanka...so, makes one wonder where the MidEast workers are returning to!

Again prove it. Now you twist the topic again, you specifically mentioned attcks against the military? The only ones attacking civilians en mass in Jaffna are the rapists and thugs of the SLA and their white van squad. Also show me a month with 100 attacks even including such. |
