Even so, the vote in 1977 is controversial as it can be interpreted in many ways. Some can show the numbers in a way that majority did not vote for separate state, especially the east.
Musketeer there is no argument that the overwhelming majority of TAMIL people voted for the TULF and seperation. There are many journal articles on this topic written by Sinhalese professors that back this up. |
