Sri Lanka `s air force jets destroy a Tamil Tiger rebel base in volatile north

Sri Lanka`s air force destroyed a Tamil Tiger guerrilla base in the volatile north on Friday, the military said while accusing rebels of attacking government security posts elsewhere in the north. Sri Lanka`s two decades of civil war halted temporarily in 2002 when Norway brokered a cease-fire, but a resurgence of near-daily violence has since threatened the truce. More than 3,500 combatants and civilians have been killed this year, according to the Defense Ministry.
The Tamil Tigers say they are fighting to create a separate homeland for Sri Lanka`s 3.1 million minority ethnic Tamils, accusing the majority Sinhalese of discrimination.
Most of Sri Lanka`s Tamils live in the island country`s north and east.

Security forces yesterday said it was determined to drive out terrorists from Vakarai and its suburbs until the last civilian is freed from the clutches of the LTTE.
?The security forces are cautiously continuing with defensive measures concentrated at liberating civilians forcibly held by the Tigers in Vakarai,? the Media Center for National Security (MCNS) said in a statement.
This is great.We must bomb daily all the rebel camps.Tigers have lost half of their terrorists due to air attacks.

Sri lanka attack, but Sri lanka accuse other to be terrorists !! Is it not a double standard ?
The first to be terrorist is this so-called democratic State !
Well wait and see the response, SLA will have a big military defeat. Don't cry after if a suicide bomber kill hundred of soldiers ! You searched you found !

If we do GOOD ACTION we will have GOOD REACTION, if we do BAD ACTION we will have BAD REACTION !

Buddha's and Gandhi's deepest philosophy was FIRSTLY nonviolence. They well understood this Truth. But unfortunately not everybody are able to understand this.
Neither Mahinda Rajapakse neither Velupillai Pirabakaran. They will not give peace as they are violent leaders..
Peace will come only with love and friendship, not with hypocrisy and war !
Both LTTE and GOSL are failing to bring TRUE peace for their citizens.

Why not do GOOD ACTIONS to have GOOD reactions ??

Why the Saffron Monk who bless the Sri lankan's army soldiers never TEACH that to the soldiers ?...... Did he forgot within a second what his Lord taught us ?

I want to share with you my philosophy.
I will say you a secret, if you don't trust me, don't trust me, but i personnaly trust that, as it was taught by an Enlighted man.
The only ARM, WEAPON which is ABLE to fight violence and terrorism, is NONVIOLENCE.
There are no other weapons which are able. Trust me or not, it's your choice. But never underestimate non-violence POWER of ACTION ! |
