Mahinda has not offered any kind of solution yet.What ever the solution he should say it to public.One one hand he is scared of IC, on othe hand he is scared of JVP/JHU.Now has been staying in power more than one year.
yes, FIRST he'll take out parayakaran!

unlike Ranil, Mahinda has got his priorities right, and majority of Sri Lankans are with him on his current course of action. - come an election, you'll see what i mean. ;-)
for Mahinda, Ranil is a TRUE blessing in disguise.

OH!! your of a higher Class..lolz..why can't you just say I am a Sinhala or a Sri lankan..
People get mad when they hear the tamils say 'We TAMILS' ..Wonder what they will think of you as a sinhala from kandy..

yes only jaffna tamils are clever. they can study others for washing them.
This is not done by Jaffna tamils.But ltte leadership has personally ordered to recruit more tamils from east to use as frontline ltte soldiers.90% VP's suicide bombers are eastern tamil girls .
Now jaffna tamils are also fedup with VP.

As most of us believe, devolution of power alone may not help to solve the current problem, if that doesn't followed up with equitable development. Though this has been painted an ethnic conflict, the bottomline is the economic backwardness of the country. Lack of state-mediated development, unemployment, district quota system for university intake etc. have been the major Tamil grievences that had surfaced over and over again. Devolution of power alone may not be able to give answers to those.
On the other hand under-development is not unique to NE, Hambantota and Amapra are the most backward districts economically. Concentration of development in urban centres have alianated majority of the populace. Problems of Tamils therefore are common to Sinhalese too. Majority of the up-country farmers are still landless, they have not been redressed for the past 50 yrs!
Globalization and the IC factor in SL economy I believe is a menace more dreadful than this conflict. As most of us believe, why VP element should be uprooted from the system is that it is the best entry point for all these menances. Though the Tamil diaspora presume that supporting terrorism is the solution, they are too stupid to figure out who their real enemies are. Despite all the downfall that VP has orchestrated for the Tamils they blindly take terror as the only way.
We Sinhalese and Tamils have yet to understand who our true enemies are and we have to gang up against them but not against each other! I wish we all learn to be wiser than we are now! |
