Mate Revy,

We had these eye candy on the Macs for ages. Vista is just playing a catch up game.

Thambi, it is a full release version, I get them earlier than other as the organization I work for are Microsoft partners (we get them for free too) so am testing it out, it is pretty but there are many drivers missing for things I would need for example I cannot see my 800GB RAID drive set under Vista as there are no drivers for the RAID controller yet =(

Officially Vista is released, but it is going to ve Jan/feb before you can get it with a new PC or buy it etc.

You may notice one of the screens I have open is Excel 2007, I have Office 2007 Pro loaded as well, it has some really nice features.

Just note Vista loves RAM some features (like the flip screen window switching above) will not even work without min 1 GB RAM =) (it will just turn the option off if you have less RAM).

But a lot of manufacturers now are offering free upgrades to vista, so you may be able to go ahead with the terminal services roll out and then do a mass upgrade if you have a pretty standardized setup.

I havent worked with macs but did see a buddy do some nifty stuff a decade ago that windows just came up with.

I havent used Vista and most likely wont be for the next little while so you guys can iron out any kinks before peasants like me get a hold of it.

Looks neat revy!
