Do you think we will land in Colombo, if we have an Airport in Tamil area? We land in Colombo out of choice and not because of any love we have for Colombo. When a Tamil Diaspora is travelling through the Singhala villages by car, it is the most difficult and fearful journey until we reach Vavuniya, because the black July (July 1983) will play in our mind.
We are relieved, when we reach the Tamil areas, until we see the Singhala aggressors in Khaki uniforms in every corner. Then we go thorough humiliating harassments and intimidations by the Singhala thugs in our homeland, where our forefathers had lived and defended for centuries.
At that instance, the Tamil Diaspora feels the need of Tamil homeland; the beauty, the natural wealth and what we are missing in the far away lands. Later on, we return to our host countries with the will and determination to fight and support to safe guard our home land.

What would Jaffna dirty Tamils say if I ask them to be grateful for the intellectual leadership of Southern Sinhalese???
To the Jaffna Tamil, the Southern Sinhalese leads by majority vote and not by the intellect. THIS is done even in Public Administration. Hence the Jaffna Tamil fears that his intellectual abilities would be brought down - as an intellectual husband is brought down by the physical looks of a wife.

So, be grateful for the intellectual leadership of Jaffna Tamils. I have worked with both groups - as part of them.
what utter rot and arrogance. The intellectual leadership which led to 1 million tamils leaving the country, severely depleting their overall numbers, the death of thousands more, the destruction of the livelihoods and economy of the north and east, the complete regression of the tamils as race in terms of education, international contempt and disrespect where every tamil is seen as a freelaoder or a terrorist supporter etc. etc.
yeah, great intellectual leadership you provided to the 'dumb' easterners. Arrogant and pathetic.
