Don't let the obvious confuse your thinking.
MR has plenty of options today, only because his predecessors created the climate that led to them. In that regard, I think Ranil's contribution was significant, even though it is easy to see him as a pansy.

If they are recalling Janakla Perera from Indonesia, the SLG must be happy about what has been achieved in dealing with ltte arms smuggling from there.

That must be why they left another military guy to work with the Cambodians recently.

Next we need to deal with the bandits in Bangladesh, who supply the ltte.

Gen JP

name makes lose bowel movement in both Militant Sinhala JVPers (especially somawansha amarasinghe) as well as LTTE leadership.

at least for this time LTTE is in a @.@ storm, I hope they think peace and grow brains and come back talk peace

again

Tamil nadu has a much stronger reason to seperate from india than north east from sri lanka.

He had his minute of fame, nothing else, just one minute, bluffer will never have the right to bury in motherland.

These sympathizers are killing me, by avoiding the forum. Come on guys lets mourn together, eh.

;-) On the other hand, we will have fun and you can mourn. ;-D.

Rani is a pansy ponnaku gamarala

But I dont see his contribution to helping sri lanka except..hmm when the peace period let sri lanka recover economically

CFA gave a legitamate back door defacto state to LTTE, not only that it demarcated the land based on one sides opinion and allowed LTTE to charge taxes, infiltrate and kill intelligence operatives, and influence MPs trough substantial graft schemes.

the CFA did give us peace, but it only helped LTTE to recover from the large losess it accumilated during its march to EP.

Now 4 years later we have to deal with an enemy that is better equipped, legitamised, and has friends in tamil nadu.

'The recent mortar attack by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam on a school in Kallar village which killed one child and wounded 10 school children is a grave violation,' a statement quoted Radhika Coomaraswamy, U.N. Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict, as saying.

Another example of LTTE atrocities
