Yes daily news had an enlarged picture.

these large gunny bags are wheat flour brought for Civilina use. LTTE is hiding those.

This is the tamil struggle. Tamils live under trees in order to protect Artillary guns, mortars and LTTE caders.

when GOSL were asked to provide more P-TOMS money for LTTE, GOSL should have given more tents.

Becuse of GOSL oppression and discrmination against tamils, GOSL did not give LTTE - PTOMs money.

That is why LTTE used UNHSR tnets to protect them.

So answer this question I asked in the other thread:

Why would you make a military bunker have a nice bright white roof that can be seen by bombers quite easily?

Of course I wouldn't expect much military intelligence from virtual warriors, when even your real 'warriors' are drooling idiots.

This is a civilan shelter, because nearly every family in Eelam builds these to protect themselves from the criminal cowardly lions of the SLA.

President Karuna:

you are the God of Eastern Tamils. Liberate our homeland from Jaffna LTTE terrorists. I know with in couple of months we have our Eastern EElam.

Col. Karuna Please SUPPORT TO LIBERATE NORTH WESTERN EELAM FROM JAFFNA LTTE. They need your help to liberate their motherland from jaffna LTTE leader Prabakaran. North Western tamils are planning to chase away Jaffna LTTE. Prabakaran is from Jaffna. So he can claim only Jaffna not even Mulathive. So chase them to Jaffna. He can live play with Sinhgala Army

Caption Reads: A large bunker covered by a tent supplied by the UNHCR for Internally Displaced People (IDP).

Reporter:
How could our forces accurately manage to direct artillery shells on sentry points?

Commander:
Do you see these UNHCR labeled tent covers?

Reporter:
Yes, What about those?

Commander:
We did some target practice on UNHCR tents a while ago! When our boys see these tents, they feel like a home! Then guns speak!

At least 15 civilians, including a 6-month-old baby, were feared killed and 41 wounded when SLA troopers fired artillery shells toward IDP camps in Vammivedduvan and Palchenai, medical sources in Vaharai told TamilNet. - Dec. 09, 2006

I saw Pachchasira's site photo too.
This use of UNHCR could be an act of negligence than deliberately try to mis-guide SLA. Perhaps LTTE did this due to the lack of resources. Generally this white color is an easy target and letters are not easy to read from far.

So, this might be an act of misusing public resources while neglecting ethics.

Its quite simple. The pilots would not bomb a UN managed civilian shelter. Can you see the bright blue UN symbol on the canopy? Its an internationally recongised symbol similar to Red Cross or the Red Crescent. This is another example an LTTE civilian shield.

Sorry, wrong answer, these are pilots who have no qualms about boming, churches, homes, hospitals, schools, they would not care about UN symbols (which would not be visible) if they were ordered to bomb them.

Besides as I said the blue UN symbol would not be that visible from a strike craft, but the white roof would make a clear target.
