Asithri,

Saint...

Sorry, I am new to to forum...just trying to know who the SWETs are from peace-loving democratic Tamils, who I simply admire.

No hard feelings....OK?

I was kidding, I guess (I am also a 2006 November enroller, maybe you are even senior) I can welcome you to the forum since you are new to LNP, you are going to have free entertainment and reconnection to your way of Sri Lankan thoughts on this web forum, this is one of the finest places you can find thought and arguments on Sri Lankan situation, try to read the POSTING REGULATIONS, and bring your version of thoughts mildly for the beginning until you get to know the forum. We have equal participation from all leading communities in Sri Lanka and finally don't give in to provocations, because if you insult someone or cross the thin line of civilized expression of thought then you can loose your membership.

Enjoy the stay.

Though I salute the JVP for protecting the territorial integrety of Sri Lanka form the trators like CBK and RW, I do support the president's decision. (my fear is that the JVP predictions came true many a times though I hoped for the contrary in the past)

LTTE should not be banned and CFA should be active till the East is liberated.

I am still waiting to see the all out war eagerly anticipated by the cyber terrorists though it is well past the Nov 27.

Chinty-

more than 15 wounded when Sri Lanka Army fired artillery shells hit the school Sunday morning

This is LTTE false propaganda...no such thing happened...this is to cover LTTE's own crime of having shelled a school in GOSL area just few days ago whereby a teacher and a scores of students were killed and injured.

If this is a propaganda, GOSL can send SLMM and ICRC for fact finding mission.

My money is on the lTTE being around for another twenty years. meanwhile all the peaceful tamils would have fled paradise and would be thriving in other countries - adding value to the new homelands (yes, even in canada). meanwhile, the idiots in the south will still be complaining about pesky foreigners who intervene, the british who favoured the tamils, the alignment of the planets, etc., etc. Can't wait to see y'all online in 2026.

With the rate you guys are vanishing, I really doubt that government gets a chance to get over come the ltte and it's sympathizers in year 2026. So I strongly recommend you to use your money for something else, something like realtor in retail business for cemeteries.

This is further proof that this gvt has no serious strategy or policy when it comes to deealing with country's political & economical problems, specially when they say one thing to the sinhala community, another for the Tamil community and another for the IC to beg money from them.

One thing is very clear, the strategies or serious longterm policies are non existence; they are still thnking about serious issues, how can they then formulate policies?

If you dont know where you are going how can you get there?

Then their short term policies and tactics are of a desperate group of selfish men trying to hold on to power while they are filling their pockets; in the mean time they dont care what happens to the country, as long as it is plodding along!!!

CFA is not a piece of document that will bring about peace to Sri Lanka but more and more violence.
It is a piece of poor workmanship by handout/bribe seeking Norwegians to allow Tamil Terrorists to kill more and more innocent Tamils.
Since SLMM did not carry their duties fairly and equally to both sides,GOSL using the CFA caveats to destroy Tamil terrorism. Therefore President or GOSL didn't miss anything by not pulling out of CFA.Results of CFA are seen on the eastern part of Sri Lanka.
