President officially announces LTTE killed Raviraj

President Mahinda Rajapakse on Wednesday said the government`s willingness to find solutions to all problems peacefully should not be mistaken for cowardice. The LTTE, he said, had assassinated or attempted to assassinate all leaders who extended their hand for peace.
They assassinated Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, who gave his utmost towards peace in Sri Lanka, and many others, including President Ranasinghe Premadasa, Lalith Athulathmudali, Nadaraja Raviraj. But, it was only when they made an attempt on the life of the Army Commander at Army Headquarters, that the Government realized that it could not succeed in its task of achieving peace unless it responded to the LTTE in the language it understands.
The President said when Jaffna was under threat of a heavy LTTE attack the Government decided to close the A9, but not entirely, only at Muhamalai and although the closure resulted in an instant shortage of food throughout Jaffna, the Government had brought the situation fully under control. In the last three months it had sent 47,500 metric tons of food and medicine to Jaffna, which was far more than that of the previous six months, which was a little less than 30,000 metric tons.
He said all steps that the Government takes to build a new Sri Lanka `can be made a success only by `defeating this beastly terrorism`. He said he would not allow the development activities of the country to be weakened.

This is absolutely true.
LTTE kill democratic leaders even though They are Tamils, Muslim, Indian, Pakistan or European.

The murder of Jaffna district M.P Ravi Raj by the terrorist gang for the crime of criticizing the terrorist leadership, including the megalomaniac Prabhakaran for educating their children abroad while children in the North were being forcibly and circumstantially prevented from attending schools had become a great windfall for the dollar vultures in the outfit called Anti-War Front.
These foreign servile reactionary rogues hijacked the body of the slain M.P with the ulterior motive of discrediting and blaming the government despite commendable efforts being taken by the government to apprehend the assassins even getting down experts from the internationally reputed Scotland Yard. If these pseudo-humanitarians were truly sympathetic for the assassination of Mr. Ravi Raj they should have gone to the funeral site at Chavakachcheri to deliver their funeral orations instead of hijacking the body and holding an anti-government political rally.

Can you tell me any murder that LTTE admitted except the monster himself admitted killing Alfred Durappa dn Inspector Bastian Pillai. It takes long time by this democratic means to prove that they killed anybody.

This is the irresponsible utterence of a head of state in his hour of deperation. How on earth he could say Lalith and Raviraj killed by the LTTE? This irresponsible statement will nullify all his claims even the claim of his intention to solve the ethnic proble.
Head of state has to be sensible in what he says if he is worth his salt. Just loose uterences will take us no where. What made him not to say that even Rohana Wijeweera, and his gang too were killed by the LTTE.
This shows the total lack of direction. He will also do well if he says that Ponnambalam, Batti MP are all killed by the LTTE. Even all the Tamils in 56,58,77,83 and so on too were killed by LTTE.
Now he also enjoys the support of the defanged US admin that has taken the role of a paid crier to reelase statement every time GOSL utter some thing. But these criers will be soon replaced with the head crier who still believes that the US army will only get back home after doing its job! Blind is following the blind.
Let MR say anything but I am only concerned about the so-called peace initiatives and is there anything genuine, or is it another of the majority's famous promises, or similar to the killing of Laltih and Raviraj.
Once bitten twice shy, but here bitten several times so naturally the victims are terribly shy. Until it is seen well and truly and taken a full shape it could still be a mis-leading venture not only to the Tamils but to the world while the defanged crier will continue to cry on behalf of the GOSL to get a hold on Trinco harbour.
But for the US time is running out thanks to the war monger Cowboy Bush who is going up in flames like the Australian bush fires. |
