TamilNet admits Vakarai LTTE leTamilNet admits Vakarai LTTE leader killed
Thursday, 7 December 2006 - 8:33 AM SL Time

The LTTE Tuesday admitted that it lost its Vakarai leader during a confrontation with the Army. Pro-LTTE TamilNet quoted LTTE`s Military Spokesman Irasiah Ilanthirayan as saying `Lt. Col.` Viduthalai, military coordinator of Vaharai kottam, died on Tuesday. The LTTE spokesman claimed that more than 30 troopers were killed, a claim vehemently denied by Army Headquarers.

Military officials said that troops killed at least 20 terrorists during gun battles and artillery and mortar strikes mounted on identified LTTE targets in the area. The army is stepping up operations in the region as part of its strategy to weaken the LTTE. The LTTE lost at least two senior cadres in the Batticaloa theatre before Tuesday`s killing of Viduthalai.

When a true soldier dies, thousands are empowered by that sacrifice.

Thats ture. The problem is, the effects are exponential. At the end no one left to enjoy the sacrifice. Some call it a 'Hollow' victory.

When you are not the victim, it is a very easy thing to sing songs glorifying the death.

The moda johnny in Vanni gets empowered by the sacrifice and gets himself killed. On the other hand, the smart johnny in Canada get gets empowered by the sacrifice and gets more of moda johnnies in Vanni killed. The smart Canada 'remote control' jonnny then comes online singing praises of the moda johnnies.
