What is all the fuss about? No one tried to sell this. It was a birthday gift from AP to VP.
Hope they return it after the misunderstanding is straightened out.
I know some of you might be unhappy that AP is giving gifts to VP. Just remember knowing the transport difficulties GOSL gave 5 vehicles including tanks a couple of months ago. So be a good sport, don't spoil the fun. |

Ranaguna,
LTTE get most of the Arms ,Ammunition even armoured vechicles from the GOSL army.MOst(75%) of the arms listed recently in USA by your Ponseka was from SL army.now LTTE is rethinking it as all arms purchased by GOSL are old & outdated.
Yes, and what are such people called? They are called scavengers... That's what happens when your only a bunch of terrorists, you have no option but to scavenge off your betters (a legitimate state)... That must suck for those eelam dreams eh old man? |

Yes? I wasn't aware that ltte supporters also thought that the ltte are cowards... Sampur anyone? The image of elilan, fleeing to Vaharai after all that bluster about defending Sampur to the last was priceless. |

Sampur was not a major achievement for GOSL. This should not have been in LTTE hands in the first place with the close proximity to the Navy base. Yet I dint hear that they ran leaving vehicles or heavy guns.
They retreated in a orderly manner with minimum casualties no one handed over hundreds of bodies. |

| That's probably because as a proportion, the tigers have far less heavy equipment, ergo less to abandon as they flee. You can't abandon something you don't have. The ltte don't possess a great deal of military-grade motorised assets, and no one would notice an abandoned lorry or tractor, the prefered method of ltte transport, because its basically a civilian piece of equipment. You can't expect much by the way of bodies either, seeing as they ran before the main assault. |
