So why did indian PM refused photographs with MR and Why did Clinton refused to come to SL?

Clinton was scared that Manika Lewakanawesi's parents are trying to harm him. Manika, a Sri lankan girl went to US and changed her name to Monica Lewinski. Rest is history.

GOSL has to be lucky always, while LTTE has to lucky only once. So keep the champaign on ice.

Another version of lucky only once theories, ;-D

We are also waiting to hear the news of one bunker blast, and then we will open the champagne, so please do us the favor of keeping it on ice.

LTTE cadres are on the run in Vaharai in the east Sri Lanka
Wed, 2006-12-06 05:58
Colombo, 06 December, (Asiantribune.com): Tamil Tiger cadres are on a ?do or die battle? in Vaharai. Sri Lanka?s Army has already surrounded Vaharai, area under the LTTE control, on all directions. Army soldiers are tactically deployed in the jungles around Vaharai. They are waiting to pounce on the fleeing Tigers from their jungle hideout, according to an Army source.

Sri Lankan troops have already killed 15 Tigers. One of those killed was the senior LTTE cadres Lt. Col. Viduthalai, military coordinator of Vaharai. He died in the battle on Tuesday.

Already many LTTE commanders and their deputies have fled from the theatre of war. S.Elilan, LTTE?s head of the political division for Trincomalee region, which includes Vaharai, has already fled to Vanni.

Media Centre for National Security revealed that Sri Lanka Air Force fighter jets pounded on the identified LTTE strong holds at Kaddamiravikulam in Panichchankerni on Tues day morning. The Media Centre said the air raids were carried out around 9:00 a.m. yesterday targeting the LTTE positions where the Mortar launchers were located.

Sri Lankan sources revealed that the LTTE offensive stopped at about 12 noon yesterday under the successful retaliation by the security forces.

According to Sri Lanka?s Information Department news report, the attack did not cost any deaths to the army troopers, while 19 soldiers were injured. The wounded carders were admitted to the Polonnaruwa and Valachchenei hospitals.

LTTE's Military Spokesman Irasiah Marshal Ilanthirayan speaking from Vanni confirmed that heavy fighting was reported between LTTE and Sri Lanka Army troopers at Kattumurivu for the second day.

More youths surrender to Rights Group in Jaffna

TamilNet, Wednesday, 06 December 2006, 01:21 GMT

The number of youths surrendering to the Human Rights Commission (HRC), Jaffna branch out of fear being abducted and killed by the Sri Lankan Forces, are increasing, human rights activists in Jaffna Peninsula said Tuesday.
More than 30 youths from various parts of the Peninsula have surrendered to HRC in the last two months. The youths then appear before the Jaffna Magistrate through HRC's legal support, and are sent to the protective custody of Jaffna prison.
