You should be the type of guy during school days call others for a fight and spit at them and run crying.

Do you wear pants of skirts.

If this story is true, bulldozing cemeteries should not be commendable.

It is true that LTTE has blew up primal religious places, but SL security forces should not follow the terrorists' way.

Even King Dutugamunu respected and ordered others to respect the momorial stone of Elara.

Btw, this news further confirms that tigers have lost the plot in the east.

The explanation is simple.

The SLA is not dealing with a recognized formal military. As such, military courtesy, which tantamounts to recognition of nationhood of the respective military does not arise here. As far as the reality goes, the land is empty.

Recognition of a cemetary as a military cemetary, by default forces the nation within whose territory it is situated, to also recognize the interred as soldiers of a formally recognized nation. By establishing such places and expecting the SLG to accept them as military cemetaries, the LTTE attempts to force an admission of nationhood by default.

Sri Lanka is within her rights to deny legitimacy to any act that threatenes her territorial integrity whether active or passive. A nations's national security supercedes all else, even though this is an act that one wishes to forget soon and move on.

Achilles, as Raves said above, its nothing that surprising to us, the SLA have done it numerous times, the act it self doesn't even bother us, we will rebuild those places as was done in Jaffna, its just the attitude of some people here who think it is fine to do so.

When those SLA goons don't care about their own dead, why would anyone expect those maggot-brained deviants to respect other race's.
As they say in You're the Weakest Link, time to say Goodbye to the southerners.

Why build for those who are already gone?

Consider it a favor by the SLA, to make boarding room for the remaining LTTErs as we go on with your 'national booruwa's agenda of renewed war. Now there's plenty of room to bury the rest of them.

By the way, does even velupillia know whether it is war or peace that's next? It is just amazing how you apparently smart people still cater to the whims of a nasty monkeybutthole hiding in a hole in the ground.
