Thanks for the answer.
Yes, for me too, that idea occurred. It will be a do or die battle for most of the people from both sides.
VP was expecting some encouragements from IC. However the timing was bad. Even those how are with LTTE Inc. (such as Norway) are silent.
Now GOSL has some excuses to play VP game again and again. No immediate relief to the people of N and E!!!

I'm not saying I condone what the Army did but the LTTE is not the army of another country. They are all guilty of the highest form of treason: taking up arms against the country of their birth. Do dead terrorists deserve respect? Whether they like it or not, all Tigers were born as Sri Lankans. No country in the world has recognized Eelam.
I know that Tamils were very badly mistreated by previous regimes, but that is history now. I am a Sinhalese, but some of my closest friends are Tamils, and we have always lived in harmony with each other. We are like brothers. The call for Eelam is just a manifestation of Prabhakaran's megalomania.
