`Raviraj You Are Great` Left Front Protests Assasination of Tamil Leader

The Left Front joined thousands protesting against the killing of Tamil Parliamentarian Nadarajah Raviraj very close to the Military Police Headquarters in Colombo.
He was gunned down in Colombo on the 9th of November 2006.
Dr. Vickremabahu Karunaratne who addressed the rally in Colombo in honour of Raviraj said that the killing of Raviraj was a direct challenge to the president. `The Sinhala facist forces that killed Raviraj is telling the president either join them and wage a war against the Tamil nation or choose the way of devolution and face the consequences.` The rally was organised by the Anti War Front of which Raviraj was a leading figure.
