| When there is active sea battles taking place joining SLN is not a joke. It is his decision and Mahinda no way would have stopped this boy joining SLN. I knew many of my friends from very affluent families also joined the LTTE the same way. Hope he finishes his training soon and be in the battle field off NE sea coast. |

Tamils over here are just typist and they will insult any thing because they don't have any dignity..or any thing to be proud of (apart from dirty tricks and frauds,killings etc)
also no land of their own...just like lost group of beggers.....they will do any thing just for nothing...people like Ravy EElan & Moda Sira ....just cowered jokers....... good to see tamils like them here becasue it will show how lost they are as a group....( I don't want to call them a nation or ethnics because they are not qualifying ) |

LTTE terrorizes anti-LTTE radio in London

London, 26 November, (Asiantribune.com): According to Tamil sources in North London, LTTE thugs in London have broken into the premises of the anti ? LTTE radio station, the Tamil Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) and vandalized it on the early hours of morning, around 1.45 a.m., on Saturday.
It seems a deliberate attempt to sabotage the heroes' day message by Col. Karuna, the leader of the TMVP, a breakaway group of the proscribed terrorist organization, the LTTE. TBC were planning to broadcast it eclipsing the hero?s day speech of Prabakaran, the leader of the LTTE who is wanted by Interpol.
TBC radio is broadcast in Sri Lanka via a local radio network and the LTTE seems to be trying to prevent Sri Lankan Tamils from listening to the thoughts of Karuna Amman, perhaps the most formidable commander of the LTTE, who won many battles for the LTTE, before turning against the organization.
Despite the Vanni LTTE mobilizing special leopard forces against the Eastern military formations of Karuna Amman, the LTTE has been all but driven out of the East with almost all their key military commanders having fled the East and sought refuge in the Vanni.
The LTTE, which claims to be the sole representatives of the Tamils, seems to be pursuing a strategy to become the sole radio broadcaster of the Tamils as well, intimidating radio stations which are not aligned to the terrorist organization into silence.
How the British government and law enforcement authorities would deal with this latest development is uncertain.
According to these Tamil sources, broadcasting equipment of the TBC have been looted and equipment which are too heavy to be carried away have been destroyed. The act of vandalism was carried out in the early hours of the morning of 25 November. The Police were alerted and investigations are being conducted.
The radio station had been broken into previously with the LTTE constantly harassing the staff, management, and supporters of TBC in a concerted attempt to intimidate and silence alternative Tamil opinion.
On last 17th , Nadarajah Sethurupan alias Dirty Sethu, Anushriskumar Thamotherampillai alias Rowdy Rajan and Kandiah Udayasekaran appeared before the Harrow Crown Court Magistrate Court to stand accused of causing disturbance in front of the TBC and over threatening behavior towards four persons attached to the radio station on 8 June 2006.
After considering the submissions made by the Defendant?s legal representatives, it was decided that the case will be adjourned to 29th and 30th March 2007. The Court also set 10 January 2007 for a case management hearing for both parties to agree procedures during full hearing.

Happy to see the President (and his son) acknowledging the wisdom and the righteous-ness of the ancient Vedic prescription for societal eminence.
Vedic teaching gave the highest position to those would bear arms in the defense of the nation/society .. it is these guardians who are privileged to lead the nation. Kings of yore were prepared to lead their troops into battle.
I hope this young man goes on to complete a distinguished service/military career - and at some future date steps over into the political arena .. and provide leader-ship to the nation, there as well. |

funny that you should say this. by the same token shouldnt prabakaran be acknowledged as a righteous leader of his people now that he has taken up arms in defence of his people? or is there one rule for the sinhala and a another rule for the tamils?
