These statements are quite serious..
Nothing new there from Burns, like I said before the meeting don't expect much with Burns there, he hates Tamils more than the most racist Sinhala.
In the end it doesn't matter, as I have been saying all political options are now exhausted. |

Sinhalese law makers agree their were mistakes done in the past but they are ready to rectify, and allow maximum devolution power for negociated settlement. What more they could do?
Donald, all they agreed to was to provide village headmen, its not going to fly, this is not 'maximum' anything...time for war, that's all. |

Don't worry i can't speak/read sinhala as i was born overseas too, altho i do know when i am being talked about or sworn at! shame about the war sentiments - as far as i am concerned peace must be given a chance at every opportunity. Jaw jaw is still preferable to war war!! |

While keeping all diplomatic channels open, the only option for the Tamil Liberation movement is to prepare to deal some decisive blows upon the GOSL.
great analysis Vimu, you spelled out what I saw in this farce of 'maximum devolution' I'm surprised that others cannot see just what a joke it is, or maybe they do and like what they see.
Anyhow as you say the end result is war. |

People like revy who live abroad is making lives of tamils living in the North East miserable because they push this bunker rat to continue the war. That is the reality. JVP/JHU/UNP/SLFP can come up with any solution, VP and his foreign living followers will not accept. War keeps VP safe because he doesnt have to go to indian/srilankan jail. War keeps foreign living eelamists happy because they can check the score like a cricket match every day. |

No Dewey, it is your government that is this selfish, trying to control a people they don't like and trying to hold on to land where they don't live. I only want a solution so that more innocents like relatives I have lost do not have to die and live in perpetual fear and slavery to the criminal state.
So since all political options are no gone, it is time for war, its just simple logic mate, as always this is the only language the criminal GoSL will understand.
Did we liberate the Vanni through talks or through war? Likewise the rest will be liberated the same way.

Like I told you before, just because we live here does not mean we have not already paid our price in blood, every expat Tamil has suffered under State terror of one form or the other. And most still have familly back there, so stop trying to spin it as if we have no reason to push for our freedom and just like to sit here and watch a good show.
