The diplomatic sources in Colombo have speculated a devision among the co-chairs meeting in Washinton today over present situation in North East. It is said that while America and Japan hold one view, European Union and Norway hold different views.
While European Union and Norway insists that both parties should suspend hostilities, American and Japanese hold opposite views. It is said that Japan and America prepare to maintain a neutral stance at the military operations conducted by the government.
EU countries such a Germany and U.K. have informed the government through their respective diplomatic channels that sufficient food should be sent to Jaffna. The decision to send food through A-9 was a direct outcome of the pressure put through their diplomatic channels.

| I think this meeting is much more important than any of the meetings before. The out come of this meeting should give a clear indication whether the peace process is a viable option or not. |

Norway is a part of the problem, rather than a solution. These guys are the proven failures in peace-making, as their much shouted about Arab-Israeli settlement proves. The Norwegians even got a Noble peace price for that peace initiative !!
What Sri Lanka has is a terrorist problem, and the current turmoil was started by the LTTE, by declared intent to start a final war.
Irrespective of what Norway and other pansies say, they will be made to face the consequences of those choices. |

European Union are trying their level best to appease the White Tigers of Norway by backing their every move in SL.
If not, EU is afraid that Norway will alienate itself from the NATO further terrorism to the world.
Therfore the Co chairs need to strike a balance.
It is unfortunate that tamil expats attitude towards starving northerners and to GOSL decision to transport food only via A-9.
It is time they indicated to the tigers where to draw the line as the tigers have never spent the expat donations on food for the tamils in the N and E. |

THis Co chair meeting will not bring anything to tamils.
specially it is hosted in USA,
Only way tamils can win their rights by strengthining Tigers and Tamil humanitarian agencies such as TRO. there should be some Tamil relief agency should register with LTTE and run welfare there and it should open chaneel for tamils to fund the organis |

Well first this is what they expect, meeting is occuring as we type, so no one knows anything yet, like I told you previously.
Second yes, as I said if the co-chairs were smart about it they would have given a rap on the knuckles to the GoSL as this would take the wind out of Velu's sails. He would have no excuse to launch Eelam war IV on the 27th if that is what he intends, as the IC could turn around and say, look we are taking the GoSL to task so why are you starting a war.
So if this is the outcome, good about time, with the Fool in Chief only a good beating to the economy specifically is going to work (he could care less about poor Sinhala youth getting killed and not at all about Tamils). And the Sri Lankan economy is teetering on the edge, just needs a nudge to push it over into oblivion. |

| America always support the aggressor. It support Israel unconditionally. Bush administration was humiliated in the last election for their aggressive foreign policy but for America human sufferings caused by states are acceptable if they are capitalists in colour. |
