Who Are these Tigers?What are they fighting for?Is it food?
Transport?clothing?What about their Airforce?Navy?We hear they collect millions of dollars through blackmailing,drug running,intimidation,arms deals,contract killing,Yet they can't feed their own people, they say they are the saviours.They are begging,bribing the IC to pressure GOSL. |

It is an ongoing military battle and warring parties are using all the possible conventional approaches to get the advantage and it is normal practice, but here we have some use of unconventional matters and even the world bodies are not paying their attention enough to violations.
All the time we see the pattern of wrong doing repeatedly from the ltte's side and none of the world governing bodies are doing enough to prevent unlucky incidents like using humans as shields or starving the innocent civilians to death, people of the northern Sri Lanka are struggling to get something to eat and ltte wants to make their ill fated point, by letting innocent civilians die by starving but not letting them leave the area. Wanting to show the world how brutal the Government of Sri Lanka is. None of the ltte members will die due to food shortages because they have their food reserves and have the ability travel.
In the end, if we are to see what is the purpose of this is war and what are the fundamental routes which led Tamil youth to the start this unfortunate war, is unevenness they felt from the majority of the Sri Lankans. Today the gaining's of the Tamils are even less they enjoyed in the past and the saviors of the Tamil's kind are taking them as hostages and starving them to death to prove the matter of unevenness. One can argue that this whole thing is for the own good of the Sri Lankan Tamils but if we are to ask them back what is the longest starving period you ever faced by not knowing when will be the next meal will be? Most of us will end up with the answer of never.
Governments of Sri Lanka also under the circumstances have at least two guiltiness to take the blame, Government is letting the idea of full-blown war to get in to it's structures too much, and by doing so opening g the doors to flex of military's muscles heavily, which led us to today's situation of starving the Sri Lankans in the north, here Government of Sri Lanka forgot the main importance, that it is warring not against another country but its own renegades and starving is not the politest of approach to take of, and this makes the side of Government's as the guiltiest. Secondly the failure to point out the matter in front of international community, I believe that the true story, which is taking place in today's north is unknown matter to UN, US or EU, and Government of Sri Lanka is the party to blame, because it's officers, who are responsible for these matters are taking much long time to make their complain or they are doing nothing at all to bring the attention of world bodies.
Stop starving civilians please because the goal is not worth it.

Tigers have fought with empty stomach in the past and made your well fed cowards to run in their kovanams.So ,lack of food is not a problem for tigers who are ever prepared to die for their people.

You are 100% correct.
Some LTTE lacky people living abroad anxiously waithing for a UN intervention and a UN force.
However I am sure Goat will start fighting with UN forces too. That nanny goat Tigress proves that.
Imagine if a UN force ( of Bangalees or Africans) raoming around Jaffna city???

UN intervention cannot be unilateral.
SL has already declared this as our issue and UN has accepted it as such. We are past that stage, even though agitators like Iqbal Athas occasionally throw a 'sky-falling' scenario in the media about imminent UN interventions.
It won't happen.
We might as well encourage the LTTe supporters to follow that dead end road. |
